Yeah whats wenger playing at, gilberto on the right, strange decision that. parlour is more than capable in that position, or put reyes there at least. Having seen the new holland top, the much debated new arsenal strip now makes sense and may well be real. We'll have to wait and see...

Yes, but everyone thought exactly the same 2 years ago ;)

Anyway, Real interested in Ljungberg. Real wants him to become the succesor of Figo. I hate them :)

Just looking at the table I notice we have the joint best goals scored this season (47) with Man Utd and the the best defence (16 Conceded), with Chelsea closest on 19. That shows how well this team is doing this year.

Yes, i expect man u to concede at least 1 a game now that Ferdinand is banned. Anyway, i am looking forward to what should be 2 very very great games between Chelsea and Arsenal. It would be a shame if anyone got injured in Englands friendly with Portugal in the middle of those 2 games.

That wont effect many of our players

Hahah! Are you sure?/ Sol is in there. Cole is in there. And, thats about it. I hope the defence gets injured by the rough portugese, excluding John Terry of Course. :D HAHHA CHEEKY.

Great goal by Bergkamp, tbh not sure if he's scored anything else than great goals in his career...

Didnt look a push over for you's but its wins that count this time in the season.

I think this year could be one of the closest for a while but if you want Our Trophy your gonna have to keep us this unbeaten thing for the whole season, at least!!! ;) :)

Freddie is the type of player who is very marketable, just like Beckham but on a smaller scale. I can see a lot of money being offered for him, but I'd of course much rather have Freddie stay.

We're being linked with the 'new Schmeichel'. Looks good but we have a few promising goalies here anyway.

Reyes could start tomorrow if Bergkamp isn't fit enough. If he does, it will be his full Premiership debut just a game before two of the toughest we'll face all season, both against Chelsea.

Without clicking that, im sure ur talking about Frey!
Am i correct? He should be going to Arsenal, now that Chelsea have landed Petr Cech, and since he said he is going to Arsenal or Chelsea.

Wrong!!!!!

AaB's Danish keeper Kenneth Stenild is hopeful of winning a move to either Arsenal or Manchester United in the summer, after impressing in recent trial spells in England.

Nah, I'd rather have Lehmann in between the posts. Frey is a quality keeper but I have more than a strong suspicion he's mainly in it for the money. And those imaginary phone calls he claimed Wenger made him should also point to his psychological (in)stability.

Plus, it would only halt the progression of Stack, who's looked great in the CC. A worthy sucessor to Given.

IMO, i dont think Lehman is a good goaly, he has made many many mistakes this season.

Not that many and you don't really see him have make great saves cause he is usually there before danger arises such as clearing through balls and claiming crosses.

That is very true. However mistakes have happened. Especially in the champions league. Not to mention vidukas goal in the fa cup. That was disgraceful. Lehmann must have felt really bad. Its these types of mistakes htat should happen once or twice in a season for goalies, but Lehmann has dont it more times than that, making it hard for me to see him as a good goaly.

As an example, Carlo Cudicni, whos one and only mistake this season was against Arsenal , on October 18, when he let the ball through his legs and allowed Thierry Henry to not even tap it in, it may as well been an own goal!

I think differently. He's made a few mistakes (Kiev comes to mind) yes but most of the top keepers in the EPL have. Remember Cudicini's error agaisnt Arsenal? That's just one example.

And considering we have the best defensive record in the league (aided by K-Lo and Campbell) I don't think you can argue that he's been a very good signing. Not the best in league, but he still does a damn fine job.

Actually, you have brought up another good point there. The exquisite defence of Arsenal makes it easier for Lehmann, yet he still makes a few mistakes, ahha, im assuming you did not read my post that we posted at the samet ime before posting your post. We thought of the exact same things! Cudicni v Arsenal, and Arsenal v Kiev.

I must agree that he has done an absolutely brilliant job, with the defence he is being provided. However, if you put a goaly like Van der Sar, Kiely, Niemi, or any other great goaly in the EPL(of which there are many) they would have conceded far less goals.

Reyes gets his first premiership start tonight. Lets ee how well he links up with henry in a full 90 minutes. Shame it aint on the telly.

Henry will score his 100th and 101st goal tonight.

Nice article in the Sun about Henry. Read it here. AW mentions his great assists record and how he contributes more then just gaols to the team. Very true.

Good quote in there:

“I don’t like the strikers who make a huge fuss simply because they’ve put the ball in the net.

“I find that a little bit indecent. What about the guy who made the goal for them?”

Guess he's not a fan of lil' Pippo then.

THIERRY'S PREMIERSHIP VICTIMS

THIERRY HENRY has already scored 99 Premiership goals for Arsenal in 159 matches since his £10.5million switch from Juventus in August 1999.

He has hit two hat-tricks and netted against 31 separate clubs. Here is a break-down of his strikes — and the clubs he has scored against:

8 — Charlton, Aston Villa
6 — Man United, Chelsea
5 — Leicester, Middlesbrough, Man City
4 — Newcastle, Leeds, Everton, West Ham
3 — Sunderland, Tottenham, Liverpool, Fulham, Birmingham, Wolves
2 — Southampton, Derby, Wimbledon, Leeds, Watford, Ipswich, Derby, Blackburn
1 — Bradford, Coventry, Sheff Wed, Bolton, West Brom, Portsmouth

I think Arsenal will win handsomely tonight. Either 4-0 or 4-1. Basically because Arsenal are playing well and Southampton aren't
