Campbell's an otustanding defender, one of the best in the Prem, and he would be in good steed in any other league, too, I imagine. Not one that I see many people rave about all the time, so I couldn't see him being classed as overrated. The same for Cole, although I can understand the charisma argument there. Probably not adored much outside of Arsenal & England fans.

How can you call Vieira a good defensive midfielder, his task is to tackle! For every tackle though Vieira gets a yellow card or worse! How's that a good tackler?! He does have character though, an unsympathic one. He always acts/reacts childish and over-aggresively. Cambell wouldn't make it in another league, he's just so slow and makes a lot of mistakes. Arsenal have a great defensive record this year yes, it would've probably been better if it wasn't for Campell... I even rate Cygan better.
About Cole he IS pretty fast and good on the ball, but I dislike his personality.

You are talking out of your arse mate. Patrick Vieira is the best defensive midfielder in the world, it's not just about tackling it's his ability to run the midfield with his dominance. As for Sol Campbell he rarely makes mistakes and I don't know why you think he's slow cos he's one of the quickest centre backs in the premiership not to mention his ability in the air, infact he's one of the best headers of the ball in the premiership aswell, and Ashley Cole get's too much unfare critisism, for Arsenal he's defensively sound and when he get's the cover that he does at Arsenal, he's sound for England aswell, it's only when selfish buggers like Joe Cole don't track back when they lose the ball (ala the Denmark Match), just look at the game at Turkey, Ashley played brilliant like the rest of the team because he wasn't left out numbered when he was defending like he usually does when he play's for England!

agree with everything you say mate.Don Domencio personally I think your just trying to wind us gooners up, that or you obviously know nothing about English football .Viera is arguably the best DM in the world and Sol Campbell rubbish?I may be bias but for me hes one of the best defenders in Europe ok Cygan maybe better on the ball but as a pure defender Campbell is a class above anyone in this country IMO and is the main reason (along with Tore) why our defensive record has been so good.He could easily do a job in Serie a or La Liga.

I hate it when people say things like that. That's the worst possible argument you can give. Because you have a different oppinion, you're saying I know nothing of English football.

And Nicky, why do you reckon Vieira is the number one in most received cards in England?
 
Well for starters your a Juventus fan in Holland, and I'm an Arsenal fan in London, so whatever you know about english football I'm gonna know more!
You don't get the coverage that we do and you don't go to any of the games! and Vieira's cards he gets are mostly due to his reputation. You look at atleast 4 of his 9 premiership red cards and they were unjustified.
 
On a brighter note, has anyone else got Desktop Wenger? Cos I just got a video message from Jose Antonio Reyes saying hello to all Arsenal Fans!
 
well since your a Juventus fan living in Holland and im a English Arsenal fan living in London whos been to pretty much every home game this season I think I can say my knowledge of English football is probably better then yours!

And i don't know why you're all being so easily wound up; I even wrote I'm starting to like Arsenal better, well I guess that's over now..

Wouldnt be suprised if that gets scrapped, its happened before when players have come over.

It'll be all eyes on this kid if plays against siddy, watching him run at Dunne will be fun :)
