Its just that they dont need to loan, they can buy, smaller teams cant afford to buy all the time.

Why not loan if you're not sure, we now have 2 players on loan with an option to buy.

It's better than buying realising they're crap and then selling them (ie Kezman).

What you need to realise Sulph is that Arsenal are a business not a rich mans play toy. All financial decisions need to be weighed up carefully before being carried out.

he's not gonna understand that, he supports chelski who are "a rich mans play toy"

Firstly, i was talking about big teams in General and why they dont usually loan players.

Lol.

Its funny you say that when Chelsea themselves loaned out some big players to big teams.

Chelsea ManU Arsenal Liverpool harldy loan players as much as the other clubs.

The only major important one was the keeper Jones was it? That Liv loaned from Wolves a few times.

I think he does understand. Cuz they loan OUT loads of players.

Well if he was lost shit loads of money compared to what he gained, how can you say he's not playing with Chelsea? Its certainly not for business.

And I've said this many times, Abramovich has already said he bought Chelsea to show off his power and money. There was a whole documentary on TV in the UK. And I actually did some work about him in my Business class at Collage.

Gilberto may not look very good but he is a very important player. He is the one to hold the team together. Sure he doesn't score goals or hasn't got a good foot but he is like what emerson is to juve or makelele is to chelsea

Your signature is pretty funny seeing how our defensive record and european performances are so much better than Arsenals.

but the thing is, you guys spend £70 million on strikers and we scored almost twice as much as you guys in all competitions last season with a team largely made up of youngsters and o yeah.....what did u win last season????.....precisely!!

Who gives a f*ck? You scored more than Chelsea too yet all you won was a FA Cup which you didnt even deserve.

Oi RuneEdge when was the last time you got pass the knock-out rounds of the champions league...?

Nuff said.

Oi Mastermind first get your facts straight. It took Sir Alex 13 years and next year is Wenger's 10th year at Arsenal. But theres no point in arguing how many years it took cuz you havent even won it. Stop dreaming about something you dont even have.

O great your back and you did some research. Listen United have only one it once in 18 yrs with fergie...Wenger is still our manager and will also win it at least once in 18 yrs should he stay for that long.

At the moment Arsenal are in Transition, but just look at how many quality players we have that are 24yrs and under. So stop getting happy with tha one fluke season and look at what you done since in the league and Eurpor... Verdict not much!!

3rd 3 times since, Ain't got pass knock outs of CL since. Research that!

Nuff said..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now i shall wash my hands and move on.

As for being knocked out early in the CL, in case you didnt notice, last season we were beaten by Milan who went on to the final and the year before that it was Porto who actually lifted the trophy. Theres no shame in that.
And how the hell can you call '99 a fluke season? You cant fluke a treble especially a whole league.

The fact still remains that you're assuming you will win something before you even have.
Come back when you actually win the CL.

Thats losers talk 'O but we lost to the finalist'

The fact is you've come 3rd 3 times since the fluke season and have never looked like repeating anything like that since. You ain't even played anyone decent this season and your getting excited.

'So dry your eyes I say'

Fluke season? Hahahahaha, stop being so petty. We played fantastic football throughout that season. Yes, we were lucky in the CL final but to deny us "fluking" that one game would just be ridiculous especially after the Juve semi final. It was a special year.
We (Well I, I know some United fans are morons, but you get that with any club) have always acknowledged Arsenal's great seasons, for example your 01/02 winning season is probably the best football I've seen played in England since the Treble year.

What do you mean? As far as I can see, the only way to "get past" the knockout stages is to actually win the competition. What are you talking about?
I know its all banter but some of you lot don't half get on my tits sometimes.

Hehe, this is fun. It actually got Del Bosque six months to win his first CL, and 18 months to win two. ;) That doesn't say anything.

I think United in '99 was a great team, they had a looooooot of luck in the final, but hey, both teams had gotten there playing great, so any could have won.

On the other hand, Arsenal has been a much more solid team these past years, despite they selling Vieira I think they'll do well this year.
