Most definitely. I think it would be a huge mistake to let him go, 14 goals from midfield is nothing short of priceless. There probably are replacements out there but Bobby P is our most valuable attacking midfielder IMO.
 
You lot have suposed to have made a bid for Monaco's Emmanuel Adebayor and ive heard from up this way that the oonly thing holding the Hleb deal up is your intrest in SWP....!

That is bollox cos Hleb is gonna play down the left, and SWP plays down the right.

Sorry mate but Hleb plays down the right for Stuttgart and has played in the centre for belarus but no left side! as for the bollox bit I hope it is!
 
I wouldnt say impossible. He did say he'd like to play alongside Henry. Its just very unlikely.

According to the Mirror, Dien is in Sevilla today trying to wrap up Julio Baptista and also get Reyes to sign a 2 year extension. Hleb, Baptista... gets better and better! :D Lets hope Wenger also moves for Isaakson as rumoured too.

Also, went to NikeTown and bought the new arsenal training shirt - sweet kit. Apparently our new Yellow and Black away kit is out on August 1st.

There's a lot of pens in there but he can really head the ball, something Arsenal could definitely use.

Sevilla have turned down DD's initial bid of about £8m, but it will be a matter of time before Arse come back with mo' money. Same thing happened with Reyes, remember £10m "wouldn't buy Reyes' boots,"? Come on Arsene, make it happen!
 
Beast update: Sevilla today confirmed that Baptista will not be staying at the club;

A higher bid from Arsenal will be very hard for them to turn down now, as Sevilla are aware that his value will now drop by the month.

Other reports have suggested that if Sevilla complete the signing of Luis Fabiano from Porto in the next few days, Baptista's sale will go through shortly after. COME ON!!!
 
He's gonna be an important signing. But for some reason, he doesnt look like a Arsenal player. His style is very different.

Well the Arsenal website has the players wearing the yellow kit in the pre-season photos.

By the way not sure if you're aware but Arsenal.con had pictures of Hleb in pre-season training and then they were taken off of the website. They've now been replaced by pictures of the others players but none of Hleb.

I assume it's because the deal is not confirmed and they don't want to do a Paris (Count thier chickens!).
 
Looks like Baptista is a done deal! Great signing and i see the yearly Viera transfer talks have started this time Juve!
