Arsenal thread

sorry arse wipes there was me thinking this was a forum to discuss footy stuff. You put up a the quotes from an argentinian crackhead about how great arsenal are, I quoted a mancunian repoter who begged to differ.

Fair enough you might not like it (probley cos there is no argument) but its true, deal with it.

this is a thread to discuss present arsenal news. so let me just highlight the word PRESENT .we are currently the best team, and chelsea are second. so try accept that and stop living in the past

For fucks sake, get a grip of yourself.
Vann didn't make the post about Maradona (is he a present or past Arsenal player?) he just responded to it. Anyway, Maradona was talking about the present Arsenal team so Vann continued this discussion which you seem so bothered about doing (despite an Arsenal fan just last week stating this thread "so dead", I won't get into that though).
Stop being so arsey. I've seen many posts by Vann in which he's admitted what a great team Arsenal are. Much more than we got when we won the league from any Arsenal fan on here who failed to take defeat graciously and just moaned about how an elbow on Solskjaer had cost them a whole fucking season. That last post you just made isn't going to help either, quite clearly trying to wind him up. Don't dish shit out if you can't take it back.

Yeah, we had a good run in the cola cup last season with all the youngsters. Would be nice to let them play it again. Hopefully, if we do as well as we did last season, Wenger should let them play all the way to the final... if they get that far! I'd love to see some of the stars of tomorrow like Smith, Lupoli etc.

goons visiting manchester tomorrow. they havent won at OT for a few years (although im sure the last time is enough to get them by) but seem to fair better when visitng the blue half of manchester.

Well city are on a there most successful for run for about 5 years by winning two games in a row (how about that for a record gooners!!) so i'm expecting arsenal to balst at least 5 past them in the 1st half.

Theres no way you cant beat that lot, you's better keep this run up till you visit Manchester again next month, apart from a charity shield you havent beaten us home and away (oh and of course villa park!) for a couple of seasons so that 50th game for you's could be a scorcher.

i must admit, if we do reach 49, the 50th will be a great match. both sides(hopefully) will be at full strength so there will no excuses like "we didn't have rio" ;) seriously though, it will be good to test our team against some real competition. (no offence to anyone we have already played). anyway, i can't wait.

what do you mean no excuses!!

a good draw for us at highbury.....

a win on the way to The Cup Final at Villa Park........

all without Rio.

I've yet to see this "best team in the world EVER" arsenal play against us!! ;)

while on the subject of man utd v arsenal games, i just love to see them play each other

im not wanting this to sound bad or anything but when i watch arsenal play other teams, Yea there good, free flowing, smooth, precise play but when they play united, for the last few occasions (maybe other teams aswell, if i havent noticed) , arsenals style of play seems to change for some reason. I seem to notice that united always like to get stuck in against u and maybe that is the way to over come u lot

you've got a point, last week Bolton didnt look in awe of "best team in the World EVER!" and got a good away point.

with arsenals form some teams just think they are beat straight away.

We beat you in the FA Cup there last year, and in the league (to win the league :D) two years ago. Not really long ago.

However it's been over five years since you last beat us at Highbury.

i didn't mean your performances against arsenal, i meant in general. and a good draw at highbury? you lot do seem to enjoy them a little bit too much these days. all you've done is complain about injuries and suspensions being the reason for such a bad start. and the "best team in the world EVER" beat you in the charity (community  ) shield about a month ago. what a short memory you have.

You lot were a penalty kick away from losing at OT last season (and not obtaining your unbeaten record), you were pretty lucky that it hit the crossbar. But that could've been before you were the greatest team in the world.
I think this season's match will be much more interesting, I'm looking forward to it.

So we were lucky that Nistelrooy choked? I would have thought it was his own damn fault? You were lucky to get a penalty in the first place, blatant dive by Forlan.

Oh lets move on from last seasons shocking display at Old Trafford (from both teams), I cant wait for the 2 gooner games this season - they are gonna be crackers (I hope) \\:D/

i think it was more us last season  .anyway, i do hope that we have a couple of classic games this season. the games are actually getting a bit boring against man yoo these days.

Can someone tell me how many matches did Arsenal end up with a Draw last season..
