2010 FIFA World Cup

The unlockable bonus scenarios are all from the 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany, and we all know how memorable that was. Remember the incident in the final!
If headbutting an opponent is an unlockable scenario, I'm totally buying this game.

Haven't heard anyone mention the fact that players will now strike the ball much less accurately on shots now, or rather, strike the ball much less in the center of the ball, which will lead to more swerve in shots. Sounds like one of the biggest improvements to me, along with goalkeepers and the new chest trapping features

Depends on the swerve tbh, if it's anything like the crosses it's shite. I've actually experienced crosses with soo much curl that they have gone out near the halfway line!

All players are still exact same height in cutscenes... looks so rubbish. I wonder how long they will keep it like that. I rather have some clipping issues with correct player models than having Piqué and Iniesta the same height.

Tough one.

PES used to look so daft when Crouch came over and put his arm around SWP, excpet his arm was well over his head, yet still in the 'around' position.

Thing was though, PES' celebrations react to the game situation. The atmosphere in PES just kills Fifa.

Wasn't going to get it, but I might just do now.

Starting to get excited about the world cup and I like the layout of it all and with the scenarios and stuff it should be fun :))

New Video:

Also heard a rumour that the demo is out this Thursday (8th April). Not sure that it is true as surely EA would have publicised this by now.

Looks promising:

Low hard shot at 03:53
Powerful shot at 04:23
Nice low finish across the goalie 04:36

Those were the same instances I was admiring. It finally looks like the shots have the proper Umph, atleast when using David Villa. :)

And the goalkeepers seem better overall, not sure if it's just because of the faster shooting or if they have slowed their reflexes a tad, which they should. Also I hope they have limited the reach of the goalkeepers, and especially their ability to reach the posts when jumping from standstill in the middle of the goal, aswell as the fact that they still don't need to consider their momentum of movement enough when jumping or saving in the opposite direction they are travelling in.

Not if you talk about the italian video, they're the same height. Only close ups from the play is correct models, not cutscenes. It's the exact same one's from FIFA 10.

I still find blatant tactical flaws that could make the game another run-to-run game and assure me in not buying this. Havent' found any reason to build up play in any video, when you can just turn, control the ball like zidane with any player, sprint and shoot. There's still a hole around the midline and tackling is still based on street fighter mechanics.

This game is a rental. It's only a buy for the collectible nature of it.

But when you rent a game you will get it for like 2 days max because its a new game and surely you would get at least a months play out of it. A months play for like 60 bucks, where else do you really get value like that?

People on here are so negative its a joke.

Games that aren't 10 hours long, generally.

There would be more of other features and options that could be inserted into this game. Otherwise this game is just amazing

I hope they've improved Wembley stadium for this, England will probably be the most used team in the game so they should at least get the stadium correct. So no covers over the dugouts, no 30ft gap behind the goals/down the sides, and no big concrete barrier surrounding the pitch please EA.

Rentals are 7 days, that's enough to play two or three WC's through, even if it's great you'll never play it over and over and as I hate online kids it's not worth buying...:PIRATE:

I dunno about you but the 1st thing ill do when i get this is win the wc with England, seeing as there's almost no chance of that happening in real life.
