I know. But Option Files arent. And as far as id like to say I dont care about cosmetics... i do.
I had a period of time when I edited, manually, all the teams to get them as close to real kits as possible.. still - I just couldnt play it once I finally started Master League. It felt cheap and I felt punished for liking the gameplay they destroyed
Player vs CPU
next gen what?! "next gen pulling money out of your pocket system"?Here it is confirmed that efootball for pc will also be next gen...

ohhh... the monthly payment business model is spreading. any way to get you playing this for free (maybe if they only gave you like 9 teams and 1 mode)? That's some premium stuff indeed. Especially liked the midfield action. I would consider playing that if Konami pays me $20/month.
It has always been paid, only now it is in a different way, I do not understand why the comment ...next gen what?! "next gen pulling money out of your pocket system"?

Paying subscription and paying additional money for mode? Nope, that`s not gonna work, at least for me. I abandoned Iracing for the same thing, you pay subscription and you buy all the stuff after that, what game gives you is barebones. If this is their plan I see the game shuted down in about 2-3 years.its the mechanics behind the payment... the endless payment... if you fall for gambling!
we once paid a price and had a game! these times are over...
its all been said before... i just make a bit of fun about the situation. need to be smiling.![]()
just a quick ot comment... yes, agree. thats why i stay with ACC, AMS2 and AC.Paying subscription and paying additional money for mode? Nope, that`s not gonna work, at least for me. Been shared twice already. Worth noting that we don't really know what next-gen means for Konami. In the interview itself it just talks about "gameplay experience" as graphics and audio stuff, and says many of it won't be there at launch. So take this "next-gen" label with a huge pinch of salt. Here it is confirmed that efootball for pc will also be next gen...

What I'm curious about is how much they're gonna charge for the modes. I'm allow someone else to be the Guinness pig and because I want to see if the whatever BAL and ML become are worth and even lesser price.
Agree with all of this 100%I wonder what's their plan.
Going by last couple of years - Konami is not very creative and lack imagination. Their content, if you can call it that, was almost non existent. Going F2P means that they would really need to up their game.
People rarely get attached to F2P games.
My every adventure with F2P games was very brief - download, try, uninstall.
If they think that people will stay with them for longer just because its F2P - they are in for a shock. You need huge support and huge content to keep people entertained.
Look at GTA Online and RdR2 Online. GTA has plenty of support, constant updates, events. And it has player base.
RdR2 is no doubt better game. Realistic, immersive, with core mechanics that blow GTA out of the water.
But it has fuck all support. So it has fuck all players in compare to GTA.
I know there are games out there, like Fortnite, that has huge player base, but my blood boils when pesuniverse are bringing up Fortnite, when talking about eFootball, as a possible measure of success (Fortnite is also cross platform and scaled depending of the device played)
But Fortnite is a game for kids. Its an insult for anyone who wants to play immersive and realistic shooter.
So if eFootball direction is similar to Fortnite - its actually a fucking nightmare come true.
Are we getting a different game than the online version? Not to say I'm all negativity, I still have a little bit of hope that's this eFootball it's just the new version of PES Lite and they still be announcing the PES they have been working for the last 2 years.
Challenge accepted.I'm amazed there hasn't been a version of the laughing guy made for eFootball yet, so much potential. Also the Hitler one.
Challenge accepted.
So the Reddit guy said no next-gen graphics for PC at launch, but recent interviews assume that there won’t be next-gen at all on that first release. Not only that, there is also no myClub, and no micro transactions on release, and that mode is the thing that will sustain eFootball.
The trailer put vague deadlines such as “Early Autumn” or “Winter”, but the truth is, the first finished version of eFootball seems to come around late October/early November.
Either Konami are not putting enough effort, they do not have enough talent/resources, or mismanagement has been gross over there. With one extra year of development, they were only able to deliver a demo on late September.
That part concerned me too. The gameplay won't be ready when the game 'launches' with the demo? So what exactly will be ready? This particular paragraph from the interview Series producer Seitaro Kimura Is worrying. As I’ve said before , What on earth has Konami been doing over the last two years?
I'm not knowledgeable enough to say for sure, but what I hear is that Unreal is quite easy to work with in this respect. And I know they've got an upgrading tool of some sort to bring UE4 work into UE5. So presumably there can be big and meaningful upgrades in the future. That's basically my only glimmer of hope with this – they may release a pile of wank that is bottlenecked by mid-range mobile hardware requirements now, but in future they won't be so limited and can upgrade accordingly. What concerns me (between several other things about the game) is how much can Konami really upgrade gameplay and modes (Master League mainly) over the base game eFootball. They can make "A variety of minor adjustments have been made to each mode to improve the overall gaming experience" as much as they want but can they really make huge leaps and add new gameplay features over this model? I guess that eventually they'll have to release a eFootball 2.0 or we'll have to be satisfied with what they can "improve" or with what they'll release (which doesn't look good).
Yeah I'm pretty convinced it was a larp now, though I was willing to suspend disbelief at first. Those were the key contradictions – the claim that PS5/XSX wouldn't need to downgrade graphics (and in retrospect, or as some pointed out at the time, why would they ever need to do something client-side like that to match another client?), and the claim that PC wouldn't be "next-gen" on launch. Though I still think next-gen should mean more than looking nice, and it sounds like that's all Konami mean. That part concerned me too. The gameplay won't be ready when the game 'launches' with the demo? So what exactly will be ready?
Also, the fact the PC version will launch with next-gen and that he denied any downgrading when playing on PS5 vs mobile, makes me now think the reddit leak was a guy making wild guesses, not affiliated with Konami or any development team contracted by them.
We should thank Konami for not selling us the same shit last year. And, it seems, this year too, the money will remain in our pockets. With one extra year of development, they were only able to deliver a demo on late September.
Something I wonder about modes such as ML is if they sell them to each user once, how can they make money again from that user without trying to get them to pay for that mode again the next year? Given Konami have confirmed edit mode and option files are to be free upgrades to the game, people will just use those to upgrade kits and rosters, so Konami would have to put some proper effort into modes like ML to get you to buy it again each year....otherwise it's a once only purchase.
And yes, big shoutout to Reiza - a genuine, old-school developer with long-term commitment to their product.
