Hi,
This is a good point and one that has caused discussion here at EAC. Should we consider the passers vision when we determine pass accuracy? In real life this is obviously a huge factor in players decision making, but in the game the gamer can see everything. We decided that we shoud not take this into account as it would be too drastic a change and not something that is easily understood. We chose instead to add more error onto these passes due to their inherent physical difficulty.

I've seen a few ridiculous spinny passes rocket across the field, directly to a player's feet.
It just seems odd that a pass by Anelka in decent position, although a bit hurried, could miss so poorly, but a "spin around and pass to a guy who's behind me" pass is on the money. Seems like it should be the other way around. I do notice what you were saying about the Pedro pass being off to the side and behind the recipient though.
There is definitely more (consistent) error on 180 passes than 90 degree passes and a change we made last week also will make them more consistently slower. First time 180 passes are also more error prone than when dribbling. Again, this is something that we can tune post ship without a patch so we can adjust this if we feel that it is not enough.
Thanks,
