Winning Eleven J.League 2008!!!!! just announced

Fuck your torrents, none of us wants them; I'd rather pay 60 Euros than having Konami lose even more licenses due to lack of profits (and this time around they've already set themselves up to get eaten alive by Electronic Arts in October upon releasing PES 09, so they sorta need our monetary support), don't you guys get that you're indirectly ruining (y)our favourite game?

get the fk out.

Hiyo!

Yeah I know, I was talking about PS2 though, there's patches all over the net for Winning eleven games, the question is, how do they apply them to a system that has hardly any network connectivity and doesn't have a built-in HD (at least my model didn't)? Gamesaves on memory cards (which would leave a further question unanswered, how do they interface their memory cards with a PC connected to internet, I guess some sort of adaptor)? brand-new burn'd copies of the modified game? What else?

To apply the patch you must burn a DVD of a modified image of the original game, so you must have your console chipped. If you don' t you have it chipped then just hope that someone will make and release a simple option file with all the names translated. Anyway with some hours of (hard :) ) work you can do it on your own.
To interface the memory card with the PC there is a quick and free method but it' s kinda illegal...if you want to spend some money you have to order buy a kit that consists of a stupid old pen drive (containing about 15 mega :D) plus tha magic software that allows you to interface the pen drive both with the pc and the PS2.
If you already have a pen drive maybe you only need the software...
If you have more specific questions please ask me in italian if you can speak it. I' m much more confortable in explaining such technical procedures in my mother language...

I just want to know how are the South American teams

Worth the try? Unique faces?

Hmm Reds playing at Komaba in this version? I didnt see Saitama Stadium :(

Also seems that there are no slowdowns in player cam for Fantasista, but i have to play more than the opening match to say if there are really no slowdowns in player cam.

so they sorta need our monetary support
U get the fk out!
Konami is the fkn thief here. Ain't no way I be payin' 2x 60 euros (WE & PES)each year for games with no progress at all. So what they do with "our" money? Havin' a good time I'd say.
So stop payin' and make a statement. If they need sales they should make a product worth buying. They will wake the fk up once they see sales droppin' drasticly.
So fk'um, I'll buy the game when it's worth every penny.
In the meantime I'll be ridin' free.

So where's the torrent? lol nah, just kiddin'. I'll find it.

lol...aside from missing the point completely (and allow me to point out that you'd do something illegal by downloading the game since you don't seem to recognize that concept very well) you might've failed to realize that there's two different development teams working on PS3 and PS2 versions of the game recpectively and whereas the "Next Gen" ones have sucked big time so far, the ones which revolved around J League have always been great, they're crafted with passion and attention for details, definately improved throughout the years and most of them are still worth buying even nowadays. If you can't tell the difference between PES 09 and JWECC08 (or any recent JWE for that matter) then you're either biased, in denial or just flat out dumb.

Therefore, while I despise what they've done with the PS3 chapters I'd like to have my favourite football game (aka, JWE) next year too, thanks, so go away and take your pirated software discussions with you.

Hmm if you are on bench at Fantasista Mode you always come in at the beginning of the 2nd half, not 10 or 5 minutes before the end of the match. Seems to be set like this, either start from beginning of a match or substituted at the beginning of the 2nd half (or you're not even in team as already known).

Also seems to be slightly faster than in previous version (just a feeling, im maybe wrong) and easier to score, defence isnt that good. I could score more goals in the first few games than in JLWECC07. I dont want to imagine whats this like if my player has real good stats, i mean the shots are already good although i just started this mode.

yes there were lot of slowdowns in jlwecc07 fantasista mode, but now you can play in player cam in Fantasista without any slowdown ;)

For me to download the game means I don't recognize the concept of it being illegal? You ain't that smart neither are you!?

Have you read the hands-on review of Junka? There you go! Whether it be PS3 or PS2 you have to admit that the progress made (none?) doesn't justify the financial effort for us to play it. Obviously for you it does so enjoy the game and hopefully you will enjoy it as much next year too...and until you wake up.

Focus on the game please, guys, no more piracy debate.
