Just listening to this now... noise fest! Sounds like something off of MoP!

Day That Never Comes is much better - better than anything on St.Anger, so thats a start - some of the lyrics are still a bit shite though.

Got the new Verve album last night - had a quick listen and thought it was excellent!

Yea, as I said, gave it a 'quick' listen... first 3 songs are really good - mellow with an edge, rest fade off to drudge.

Ah well Stick the first 3 on my iTunes rotation and bin the rest.

I've also listened to Unforgiven III which starts ok, but is 'meh'.

The Day That Never Comes is fab, but I didnt like My Apocalypse.

End of Metallica (for me personally). I'll remember them by when I saw them at Reading in 97 and the albums '...Justice' and 'Metallica/Black' - I also really liked Load...

This really is terrible. Maybe I'm getting old, but its just thrash - terrible lyrics ("WHAT DONT KILL YOU MAKES YOU MORE STRONG" cheers for that James).... just horrible thumping and thrashing with little melody.

Sad day!

Day That Never Comes stands out like a sore thumb. Shows how poor this record is when 1 song does that.
