ADONIS WAT DO U THINK?

yes i agree to i like to see players scratch their balls in the middle of matches when there not in play adonis wot do u think!!??

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

Ball scratching would be an excellent addition. Perhaps if the players balls get too itchy they could start running around in random directions as the opposition attacks you leaving gaping holes in your defence for the CPU to exploit.

It would be great, but i hear this kind of stuff from the time of Pes1...no discredit on your contact make this clear, but i think it will come up with his pros and his cons, like ever

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

I was thinking about the colour of grass, nets, goals, fans etc, I think PES2 had the best of that, the colours were lush, why not just look at that and use that, playing that on summer fine, actually looked a real sunny day, but obviously better graphics in HD, but I think that had the best colours in all PES so far :D

And is that all your contact can say TG, thats so teasing, tell us more dammit! lol :(

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

Is Football kingdom ever released on European market?
I've never seen it in stores here in the Netherlands.

Watched a few movies on youtube and yeah.. they did a good job on the goal.

If Pes 2008 can realize the same .. with the graphics we've seen(so far, hope they will get a little better though) and a better gameplay..
it's gonna be a great game to entertain me for a year:lol:

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

I think the teamvision is gonna be more of a ML thing, i mean the more the computer teams learn how you play the more there gonna try and counter it. If that makes sense?

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

Im with Jay666, maybe slight notice in the usual games, second half mainly? But leagues would make more sense, throughout, teams scouting, watching how you play, obviously better teams can stop you better etc, sounds good to me.

Just hope it is good tho lol

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

Well ThomasGoal I think you are VERY defensive about this game. I mean the "I-hold-konami-stocks" kind of defensive.

We have more than 2 sources that EMPHASIZE that the gameplay feels the same. And for no reason whatsoever. I'm telling you, saying that a new game plays like an old one will in no way raise your magazine sales.

What's worse is we're talking about the 1st proper next-gen game.
So if the graphics aren't as "next-geny" as we all hoped for, and if the gameplay feels the same; then we have a mighty big disaster upon ourselves.

Mighty big.

Even worse, in all the reviews I read so far, non have felt excited or enthusiatic about the game. As if they are all terribly underwhelmed.

Gameplay feels the same.... unbelievable.

HINT: When someone says "this is the best.. most realistic.... so far", this means the guy has nothing good to say about the game. As CLEARLY the game must be more realistic, more everything. We are moving forwards and not backwards, at the end of the day. But it's how much more realistic/different that makes people over/underwhelmed.

bullshit, the german pc review gave a great review, dude you guys are so blind, go back thru the reviews

"Our impression: fantastic! Especially neat: you don't need to be afraid of eye-cancer any more, for the PC-version is based on the high-definition visuals of the consoles. In plain language: finally a decently high grade of detail, flapping shirts, grass-leaves and even emotions on the kicker's faces. The playability is first class as always, the master league-mode has been pimped by the makers and a new playing-mode, in which you control one single player and accompany him during his career adds more variety. We are enraptured!"

The real truth is that it is completely subjective.

In recent years, with every new release, opinions have always ranged from "this new version blows the last one away" to "it's almost identical to the last one".

It seems it will be the same with PES2008. There are undoutedly good reviews already, but equally, there are disappointed ones. In other words, the game has clearly not moved on to such new heights that those who have generally been disappointed with it's recent progress will be blown away by the new version. Equally, those who are generally delighted with each new release will not be disappointed.

I am certain that, as is the case every year, when we, the forum members, all finally play PES2008, there will be some people ecstatic with it, and others will be deeply disappointed. Everyone's opinion is equally valid and it's pretty clear from the range of reviews published so far, this game is not going to blow away the doubters like myself.

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

i think pes2008 is goin to shut all the critics up. from wat i have read about the game so far its going to be brilliant and i think we will see that when a video is released

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

first time i've seen football kingdom in action and the gameplay alone looks amazing, animations when the players get tackled when they fall forwards...i just love the realism, also the nets look superb, these are the kind of things they need to implement into pro evo

also found this clip on youtube and it's amazing, can't believe i never got the chance to play this before i sold my old PS2

That game looks class.
When is it from?
Can you buy it in the shops?

Re: WE/PES 2008 Next Gen - Discussions Thread (Last Update 07/27/07)

Football Kingdom is a fun arcade game, yes. But don't think it will keep you busy till PES2008. The dribbling system feels extremely good at times, the goal nets are lovely, but the AI is bad, the keepers are awful and it is just way too easy. And multiplayer ain't that fun either. It definitely has some pro's, but the cons will weigh heavier in short time. Just a warning before you spend your bucks.
