Adonis, don't you think the Teamvision will replace those infamous scripts? Those scripts were there deliberatly to make it hard. If Teamvision would do a good job in making the game more difficult; will the scripts not be obsolate?

(BTW how late can we expect the next podcast tomorrow? Looking forward to you guys view on all the news this week :) )

I am a huge fan of the game and I do realise things Konami do wrong, but also things they do right.

hello im new here and i just wanna know if any one thinks that because of the in depth edit mode and that the fact that c.ronaldo is on the cover konamil will ad little things to editing such as c.ronaldo's long tape and the lenght of players shorts like ronaldo havin short ones n people like rooney havin long ones and if konami would also bring back the feature where u can change the kit combinations and things like that

So far teamvision hasnt impressed a lot of people as its supposed to be a subtle inclusion. Im not sure how its been implemented tbh. I certainly hope it will kill off the need for scripts.

Regarding podcast, yep huge one this week. Loads of stuff to talk about! Should be going on sometime tomorrow, havent got a clue unfortunately as Suff is the tech man. He usually pops it out early evening.

Hi hazza10, welcome to the boards. A few tips, try not to double post and try to add some '.' and ',' ;)

I think you are quite correct regarding the editing features, I doubt we have editing mode in the beta. I also doubt kit combinations Im afraid.

I think we reach the point where every image/scan we see, would be useless (it influences the scan/magazine/angle quality, all differences between images we saw in the last month, just confuses). We need some fresh air that only would be a Video.

thanks adonis im not to botherd about the kit combinations but do you think in the final version of pes2008 it will have long tape because ronaldo is on the cover and also many players where it such as etoo and quaresma nani and so on ....ps thnks for the tip lol

i think the graphics are definently next -gen but are not used to the full extent that next-gen offers

I agree with the long tape and like I sed I dont want to wait for next pes game to have this feature so someone needs to tell Konami quick

konami definently need to sort out the stadiums such as old trafford i very much like it until it comes to the goals, nets and the pitch. in pes6 the goals are grey the nets are grey and the pitch is a faded green where as in real life old trafford have a lush green pitch wich is spotless and the goals are a great white as are the nets and this also goes for pitches such as the nou camp and the bernabeu. also the the nets need to be deeper, they look like the nets in the division 2

Hazza punctuation is not a crime. I do agree with your points about the nets though, I still dream of having real net physics like on that game released a while back whose name I forget.

I think people are being overly critical at this point.

We have had how many different versions of this game? Did any of them suck (let's talk about PS2 onwards)? I've been playing since WE6 (played a little WE5) and I think every version since has been brilliant. You can nitpick any game and wish it had something you wanted, but overall you have to judge the game based on what else is out there and with respect to the limitations of the hardware and being able to sell enough copies to continue.

Also, since this is the first release on PS3, there are going to be issues. Just think of the progress from WE6 to WE10. Now think about how they the PS3 versions will evolve, as hopefully we can still expect to see a new version of it at least every year.

I find it suprising how nitpicky and hyper-critical some people are. Compare this game to FIFA, or most sports games. This is possibly the best sports game franchise ever. Let's chill with the bashing and wait until we actually play the game. I have a feeling everyone is going to enjoy themselves.

Bravo, you can compare and compare.. but there is a reason were at evo web in the first place and its a love for the series.

PES 2 and PES 6 (this last, more for the huge back steps), in my humble opinion, highly SUCKS. And it comes from a BIG fan of the WE/PES series. In PES 6 they removed the mixed kits of the shirts, they put on SILLY defenses that could be surprised every time with the same way....multi or single, it doesnt change much, the game sucks if compared to PES5 or even better. WE9 J-League( THE game).

Anyway i'm with you on the waiting thing, it's simply absurd to criticized the game NOW.

Ahh yes Football Kingdom that was it. Check out the goal nets! Absolutely perfect, even have keeper gloves hung on the side netting. That game is what, 3-5 years old? It looks better than the supposedly next-gen screenshots we have seen so far. I think that 2d grass looks better than the 3d grass we've seen as well, at least it's bloody green.

I would cry with happiness if we saw nets like that in PES2008. Instead it will be the usual invisible brick walls cemented down with breeze blocks.

Hello my name is Stringer Bell, i'm new here.

Can anyone tell me if you can do up shoe laces in PES2008. I really would like to see this ability in the game, along with players adjusting their undershorts so it stops getting up there bum crack.
