Anyone else notice how less effective tackles have become in PES? I was a mad man in the old game but i just can't commit myself anymore. I only really find myself sliding to block passes and to block shots

Not sure if this is a good thing or not

damn, I knew I never shouldnt pick that nickname on a forum. Anyway its an old name dont bother.

You know whats funny, fifa fanboys that keep saying "ow I LOVED pes, I bought every single game" but now pes is shit and fifa is way realistic.

Now tell me, did both games change THAT much since the last version?

Who moderates this forum anyway..

good thing is, should be easy to tweak any way we like :D

Im also curious if adam and suff had there pictures taken on webcam or via an image on the HDD

I might be the only one who holds this opinion, but i think pes went visually wrong. The old one had a lot of carisma and a clear catchy design, not real i agree, but i came to love and played without those flashy fifaish patches.

Now i just don't like, it is a bad mix of color palette and a bad mix of sometimes high def textures with other low quality one.

some of the player look realy fatt on that PC pics
Like Ronaldo looks way to fatt, and in the 360 demo he does not look that fatt(still is a little fatt in real life ofcourse)

pes has been broken since they cancelled off the 360 motion.

PES 2008 is £39.99 on play.com BUT you get to enter an online tournie with 1st prize being £50k.

Rumors prices in France (official from few sources)

In October :
PS3 40GB = 399€

In November :
PS3 60GB + a Second Sixaxis + PES2008 = 449€

The total control issue has always been misleading, it actually always meant total scripting. You want total scripting?? i don't.

Fair enough, PES is scripted, but FIFA aswell. It think this will be gone in a few years but for now we have to deal with it..

If it is true, I hope that ps3 exclusive game mode is worth it.
