Ppl are already saying stunning, amazing etc.
Again no wonder Konami dont change shit.
Its the same masterleague instead of world rankings they use popularity points its just another term for the same thing.
They have added cut scenes and best shot of fans of the week WTF.
Still stuck at the same club etc what a crock of shit.

Fifa have to sort out their Gameplay it never feels right but until they do.

I just feel that the hardware is outgrowing the dwindling talent of the dev team at Konami.
The artistic ability is so average considering the tools they have at thier disposal and they dont sem to have the talent to really add the sort of features that really immerse you in the action and overall game.
The cut scenes just put me off the masterleague cus apart from that (which i will no doubt skip anyway) nothings changed.
Why the hell they cannot just listen to all those people feeding suggestions from here and Pesfan is beyond me.
PES has sold on its reputation for the last 5 years and rightly so because it was a great game, but its stale and needs a complete revamp.The thing is I do not think the Dev team can do it.
What is the betting that this game will be the basis of the next 6 PES's with minimal tweaks to the gameplay, a little more animation and a new name on the cover.
FIFA has been doing it since day dot and I am starting to feel that Konami are going the same way whichg leaves people synical and frustrated.PES6 360 was awful, truly awful and you can say well the gameplay was great (not IMO) but it was a shallow experience not worth the money.Did that stop Konami releasing it ?? money talks and thats where they are heading.
PES was a game for the hardcore footy gamer, spending real hours mastering the neccerssary skills to give the sort of reward we search for in games like this.Its market has changed, its got to have appeal to the masses to compete with the pick up and play attitude of casual and FIFA gamers.
I would expect a next gen game to have it all, pushing the hardware to the limits especially in AI and graphics but we always seem to get "a new feature" that is a compromise to the true game we want.
Come Oct you will all be dissapointed in some way and ask the question "why did'nt they do that or this" the answer is the exscuse to make the next installment for another £40 a throw.
Konami and EA are a business, what matters is bottom line profits and thats it, if you think that either will listen to what fans want and what will make a total game then you are seriously misguided.The gameplay scores alone but in this day and age its just not enough.

Fifa08 is looking very good and is defintely on the shoppping list with pes2008 this year! Ill get fifa for the 360 as well as I think that the marginally better port/version will be for that.
And ps3 for pes208

I do not know about computer geeks who fight about which game is better and take it to heart like it relates to them of some sort. I am a football fan, nothing more, nothing less. PES until this very day is the ONLY game that gives me the almost-realistic football experience on a console. Whether its EA, Konami, or any other company, i don't care.
