Hmm...

After 10 years of WE experience I don't get excited as before and as the younger enthusiasts over a new release, specially because since the arrival of PS2 Konami has broken the paradigm of "a better game every year" that PSX long term faithful followers took for granted.

This year I'm increasingly worried as the news I read about seem to point in a single direction: a "comercial" release, aimed to cope with EA strategy for the WC and with very little "juice" in it.

After the bad experiences of WE8 I just hope that Konami delivers minimal "colateral damage" and that, while trying to cope with the market speed, they actually don't deliver a worst product than WE9/PES5.

About significant changes well.. when I read news about "topping the graphic capabilities of PS2" to justify total absence of graphical improvements or zero DB growth when the game doesn't take even half a DVD I don't keep that much confidence in an increasing comercial Konami.

My only hope is that they don't mess up stats as they always do. It's unbelievable how they do such a lousy job on one of the most important areas of the game, maybe the second most important just after playability and directly related to that.

So where is it extracted to, the PS2 has no hard drive? Whatever it is, the fact is over half the disc is not used, they cannot seriously maintain a lack of space is the problem.

i thought that we covered that size doesn't really matter? it has been proven in WE8 with everything put in, graphic-wise, there were slow-downs during times when the ball is near the penalty area...that's because there's too much for the PS2 to load and read all at the same-time, it can't process it well enough....that's why they had to take out the hair moving, the crowd to fit with all the new graphic details and new AI for WE9....now, what will happen with WE10 is still unknown, but don't expect too much of an increase not because of commercialism (well, that might be a small part, but nothing big like EA-style), but because of the lack of technology or power in the PS2 (sad to say as i'm a PS2 fan, but that's why there's PS3)....

When I'm talking about SIZE I'm talking about DATABASE, teams, players, tournament modes. I'm not talking about graphics and gameplay complexety, that's what can make "stutters" like in WE8 not DB and proper funcionalities that are not "processed" while you play the 90m (eg: a multiplayer masterleague for you to do with your friends, something I've expected since... PSX!)
