Looks good so far, and thanks to everyone for getting new info all the time.

What's really important to me in this game is having a power bar for penalties. I don't want to just press square + direction and let the comp decide if I hit the target or not!!

Does anybody know if this has been sorted?

Yes, go play PES5 or WE9 right now and instead of aiming with the directional controls, aim with the left stick... ;)

Yeah your right embraceuk1, they had 5 or 6 different colums called Q1, Q2 and etc...looks good.

Yeh but the gameplays fine its the rest of the game thats the letdown and needs changing.
Masterleague
Weather
Transfer frequecy
Red cards need to be brought back

I hope this game has less fouls but more cards.

yep, says 'WEアスレティック' and 'PESアスレティック'
i guess from that compression 'ア' ('a') looked like '7'。

"WE Athletic" "PES Athletic" respectively.

Not to difficult to work out.
red cards are present in the game but never used especially for last man tackles which Konami seems oblivious too.

oh my, I could watch the video over and over again.

Favourite parts are:

2.15 : quick free kick!
3.10 : Shows all the new feints! They all look fantastic :)
3.47 : Joe Cole score with an out stretched foot. Very nice new animation.
5.37 : New keeper animations! great stop by the keeper.

its look amazing so far. I want this game so bad now.Cant even play WE9 anymore because know whats coming :(

The PS2 itself is region-locked, there are no region-free PS2 games at all. Ever.
