Hi @paulv2k4 couple of career mode feedbacks, I have 5* youth scouts but month after month they're all saying they have nothing to report in their search? Also I have a bunch of players on loan and for some reason lately all I'm getting is 2 year loan to buy offers, if I say no to buy they pull out, if I try changing to short term they stick to 2 years, wondering if either of those are down to your career mod at all? :)

yeah im getting the same 2 year offers too. i'd rather not have them get the buy option as that'd defeat the whole point of trying to develop my players lol.

Nah i get same all time , 2 year loan or loan with option to buy , rarely seem to get usual loan offers and I'm not using his career mod

Aha I see, it's definitely changed recently though, I'm in my 3rd season and they were varied before that and a bit more flexible in negotiations, think maybe TU3 changed it...
 
Hey everyone and @paulv2k4 - I noticed that sadly the game crashes in this recent TU, when trying to play on the v0.13 gameplay. Is there an incompatibility? It would be a massive pity, respectfully, I still find 0.13 your best piece of work :( Many thanks!
 
I have also been compiling up a list of known working mods. I have trimmed it to the following zip file for now.
This zip contains.
1) FIFER Realism Mod Lite (all credits to @FIFER Mods and his team, many thanks L!)
2) My Licensing Mod (which corrects most of the hotspots of the mod above and adds the team names and crests. this is needed because FMT doesn't support *.fifamod legacy files)
3) My (still working alpha 5) Career Mod
4) My latest Gameplay Mod
Let's start with thank you for awesome work.
Long time PES player here. For years I tried FIFA on brother's PS4 and only thing that let me tolerate it's gameplay were OS comunity(Matt10) sliders. This year I bought FIFA 23 for PC because gameplay looked promising (and I got tired playing same PES 21 with mods) and with sliders it was good. Had some problems, but good. Yesterday I installed mods from quoted zip file and man, it does everything sliders team tries to do, but better. Only thing I didn't like were strikes. Ball flies too fast and strikers are too precise, even in really difficult shots. May be it is needed for CPU to try long balls? For now I am trying to nerf shots with speed and error sliders(for both me and CPU). So I wanted to know, what was reason for such strong striking and does everyone use sliders at default.
 
i tried your mod and it is better than the base game, the only downside is that we can't combine your mod with FMT with all cosmetic mods from fifa mod mananger, i tried experiments for combine the two but nothing works so far

If I had the chance, I'd prefer Game-fixing mods over additional cosmetic mods (just my opinion). I don't have FIFA 23, but I do have FIFA 22. Thus, I'm already missing Paul's awesome gameplay and career mode mods (since he didn't do any mods for FIFA 22 unfortunately, but he did for 21).

You are correct. Unless you drop a lot of the things that make shooting more difficult, the AI wont shoot at all. So what I tend to do is drop it and then balance it to try and keep the shot count high but with lots of error in certain situations.

I am not sure what "cosmetic" mods you are referring to? If you are talking about face mods and kit mods, they are all supported via FMT 23.16. If they are crashing for you, its likely because the mod was built against TU3, not TU4. I have a list of mods running perfectly fine right now and supplied a few in my list.

I am the same. If you dont play the game, because the game is boring or buggy, you wouldnt see cosmetics anyway haha

Wow that is bizarre then because it's 100% changed in the last season of my current CM! I simply cannot loan out a player on a short term loan now.

Endo's latest version and eSim version 1.1 by 6ons1 work with Paul's latest FMT. This is what I was running with yesterday:

Of course!

In these situations, I always suggest sliders OR making your own mini mod that overrides my changes. If you feel you can do something that you'd prefer, then do it. This mod is made for me, then released, so I can't please everyone :)

There are so many values there, its difficult to explain on my quick coffee break but most are fairly obvious.

Place the mod below mine in your list and viola, you have a mini mod and a nice adjustment to suit you!

P.S. Remember. If you are running this in FMM/FET, you may be missing some fixes or features.

What do you mean "doesn't work"? Crash? Just not appear? They might just be designed to work using FET lua system? I dont know what this stuff is haha.

I would hardly call jackets and a couple of remade kits "essential"... More essential than Gameplay? Just play FET using them if its more essential haha

I meant essential without considering mod gameplay :P
Obviously your mod is more essential than other cosmetic mods

on the game, when I activate, the jerseys do not appear, (the alternative jerseys appear white) on FMT 23.16 I cannot launch a match, blocked on the jersey selection menu

Im using your v3 gameplay mod and its awesome. I too however find the shot speed a bit too fast. My question is if i try the modification mentioned here, if i load up the values will i see your edited ones or the default? i'd only like to chenge it maybe around 10-15%

Edit: changing the shot speed with sliders while this mod is loaded doesnt seem to take effect

Forgive me if this has already been asked but does the mod and FMT work if you have the Steam version of the game? I see that FMT requires adding a launch code for the game via EA Desktop and that option is not available if you bought the game on Steam and doesn't appear for me. If there is an alternate way to do this via Steam or enable that option in EA Desktop for a Steam game it would be helpful. If it doesn't work I'll look into refunding the game and trying to buy it via EA Desktop directly.

I've just downloaded your "all in one" pack as I also noticed that FIFER's mod alone, loaded with FMT, didn't have the right hotspots for kits (and neither the right collars, but I think it's because legacy files in .fifamod packages aren't loaded with FMT and I assume that the DB where the teamkits table usually is is a legacy file). I haven't tried loading your licensing mod below FIFER's mod unortunately (but that could have been an easy solution maybe).

(Sorry, new to Frostbite FIFA modding. Whining over, I swear).

Back to the original question: I'd like to ask you a thing if you don't mind.
Would you recommend playing your gameplay mod on manual controls or do you think it'd be better with semi or assisted? I'm also finding it very difficult to pass the ball around (boh with "average" teams like Monza and with teams like Portugal which should do it way better).

I wanted to congratulate you for your gameplay mod, amazing, it was enough for me to see that the cpu teams finally cross over to everything else, movements, rhythm, speed, sprint etc.....

Really glad to see you at this again, @paulv2k4. Probably the only thing that could make me get 23. I've been playing 19 with your locale. Still one of the best FIFA gameplays when coupled with that mod.
Anyway, looking forward to picking up 23 and trying this out.

I am not entirely sure how FIFER's mod works in FET/FMM but from what I could tell from the mod is that it doesn't include hotspot mods and is instead relying on some other mods to polish it off. This is why I supplied my additional mod which cleans it up.

I play on assisted with very poor players and can handle it fine. It is how my last gameplay mods for 21 played out and it makes a more realistic game and more realistic stats.

Changes (in comparison to V3A1):
- Midfielders and Defensive Midfielders at all levels will always drop back to help the defence when the ball is near the box
- Shots are harder in certain situations
- Shots when "assisted" no longer auto aim within the goal (i.e. if you push the controller too far one way or the other, you will miss the goal)
- GK positioning improvements, especially when guarding the near post
- Player strength and weight is important in winning possession or in 50/50 situations
- AI run with the ball more
- AI use more lob passes

Superb! Played a match against Wycombe and they were so hard to break down. Only won with a very late toe poke goal from the 6 yard box.
 
Another excellent works.

I noticed that on crosses in the box the players controlled by the player and those controlled by the cpu many times, too many, instead of trying to hit the header they try their hand at improbable attempts at spectacular but absolutely unrealistic half bicycle kicks

i was hoping also to fifamod version but if you cant ok i will still playing v2
 
i was hoping that you'd stop asking for a fifamod version but we all cant have our own way
i respect it about that you said i didnt mean it in the other way many times also say how good mods you have so i am not bad user here and also i agree our own way
