Paul listed these settings (when you load the mod in FMT you can see the info in the description tab).

Recommended Settings:
- Simulation Settings - Gameplay Type: Classic (Please do not use Simulation! This mod is "Simulation", you don't need to add EA's slider set)
- CPU Sliders - AI Behaviour: Tactical
- Match - Difficulty: World Class
- Match - Attributes: Classic
- Competitor Mode: Off
- Player Based Difficulty: On

Paul- Thanks much for v7, Test 7!!
I'm also having compatibility issues with other mods, so like danilik think it would be great if there was a version with your more aggressive CPU tackling and foul system with just the vanilla/default gameplay.

Before I disappear for a well earned vacation, I thought it best I finish Version 7 of the gameplay mod .

So announcing the V Gameplay Mod Version 7 release!

✨ Updates from V Gameplay Mod V7 Final in comparison to V6:
- Update to Title Update 11
- Smoothed all animations and improved foot planting
- Made several changes to stamina model to ensure players are not always exhausted
- Increased the chance of a head injury
- Passing is now much more dependant on attribute. I felt that passing in Version 6 was too easy. Too "balanced".
- It is much harder to pass out of defense with poor players
- Shooting is now much more dependant on attribute.
- Fouls & Referees have been reworked, you shouldn't need to use my Vanilla Referee Mod anymore
- AI will play longer passes
- Balance of playing versus better or worse teams is much more noticeable

Hi guys.

Just to let you know. V Gameplay Mod V7.2 for Title Update 12 is now available.

No video at this time.

Changes
- Attempted to fix all known causes of crashes. I've played a few games on this new version, including some Kick Off mode with random teams and experienced no crashes
- Removed most of the locale.ini changes until I work out the best setup for Title Update 12
- Removed all changes to Referees. I will be making a separate mod for Referees.

When you make the separate referee mod, could you consider the ratio of CPU yellow to straight red cards? The CPU seems to rarely get yellow cards, and when I increase Ref strictness and CPU slider tackling, the CPU gets a high % of straight reds vs yellows as compared to real football. Thanks!!
 
Really dont crashes ??? I cant play one game constantly crashes. And what about shooting system what the hell ? I cant score the goal with Mbappe 1 on 1 but CPU score me from outside the penalty area with player rating 70-75 ?? What the ???????????

Hi.

I would appreciate if you told me what teams are causing a crash. As I said. I played some random games and played my career and had no crashes. I dont know what you expect me to do beyond that?

Your other problem is entirely a you problem. I can play the game just fine with this mod. The problem you have is that the mod isn't what you want. What you want a game that makes mbappe score every chance he gets, no matter what and "bad" players miss all shots.

You can make this mod yourself. You have the tools and the tutorials. Good luck.

Well done Paul, with version 7.2 you have reached an excellent simulation level. Now we are eagerly awaiting the mod dedicated to the referees.
 
Paul, my game just crashed, I was playing a friendly match, quick start mode, with random teams, mine was Korea the other one I don't remember. I didn't expect the problem
 
Man, the feeling of this mod is one of the best I've seen so far, but it's unusable on Player Career mode, somehow AI makes so many more mistakes when passing, It's simply unenjoyable to play, they can barely get the ball to the opposing side, they always make the most stupid passes, or pass straight into the opposing team players, AND not all of the AI, It's always my teammates, the opposing team AI plays perfect, sometimes they make a mistake or two, but my team, couldn't pass the ball even if their lives depended on it, and it's not about stats, be Girona or Real Madrid, It's like my team AI is on Semi-Amateur while the other team AI is on World Class, the difference I've noticed compared to Anth free mod is quite significant.
It's a shame because I enjoyed the mod, but I also like to play the player career mode.
 
Love this mod. the only feedback I have for the 7.2 version is that playing one touch passes in extremely difficult and unrealistic as the ball travels 1m at times. Apart from this, I am very grateful of your work and I hope your health improves, Paul
 
Im getting many crashes . It is always in the same spot. When my player or a cpu player takes a run from a through pass and is ready to be in 1 vs 1 with the opponent goalkeeper. Right in the time when the attacker should shoot the game crashes.

Tackling Changes - Made it more difficult for players of all levels to be able to tackle
Referee Changes - A small tweak on vanilla referees so that they give more fouls
Goalkeeper Changes - Slightly improved all goalkeeper ability

Hello, Paul, can you tell me, please, in which file to increase the time of the penalty shootout in rush mode? (the so-called shootout is like in hockey) I just looked at almost all the files and couldn't find it.(((
 
look forward to the next version. hoping the following can be looked at :)

- AI doesnt drop as deep when we press forward, especially the wings and then cutback; AI is too deep and doesnt press forward quick enough to close down
- i love the physics of crosses, long balls
- more AI fouls potentially. rarely do they commit fouls (or at least ref does not call them often at all)
- shot physics potentially tweaked. more low driven shots, more shots that can go way off target from the CPU and also human controlled. there is a fine balance with this however
- more variety from AI;
- would like to see more random deflections
- one touch passing I feel needs a small improvement. in 6.4 it was a tad too easy, in V7 it is on the unrealistic side; very difficult to play one touch passes even with high rated players. the balls spins out of control and the movement is weird. hopefully a balance between 6.4 and v7 onwards
- headers are on the very difficult side. very very difficult to score a headed goal, even from point blank range. i appreciate there is a fine balance to get this right however.
- GK's are superb. lower rated GK's do make quite a few errors and can be poor at shot stopping, but i guess this is tied into attributes

Overall, this is the BEST gameplay mod out there, and the fact you spend your valuable time doing so despite your personal challenges means the world to myself, Paul. Once I am in a position to donate, I most definitely will

Hello, could you please answer a question for me? Is there a file in the "Data" folder that changes the gameplay? I play on "update 2" but recently I updated the game to test it, when I went back to update 2, it seems that the game is very different.
 
For some reason I cannot get FMT to work on my PC without the game crashing and failing to load. Am I able to use the career realism mod with FMM?
