Loved the Chuck finale, great episodes.

Zachary Levi's acting was superb in parts, really captured the emotional nature of some of the scenes.

Apparently the ratings/viewing figures declined a lot in recent seasons, but nevertheless, I found it very entertaining all the way through and I doubt many other shows will have such a good mix of action, drama and comedy.

I stopped watching 3 episodes before season 4 finished. Just got a bit bored of the same thing really, never got around to watching the rest but I should seeing as I've already invested so much time.

I watched the pilot of Alcatraz, which I really enjoyed.

Can someone tell me if this show is going to be the next Fringe? I CBA to watch a show that is based on individual stories each episode that all contribute to a major story line. Shows like this make me lose track of the big picture, so I'm not a fan.

First three episodes have all been based on individuals, I'm pretty sure they all will be though given how they mentioned so many people are there to be caught.

I think a lot of American shows need to have shorter, more concise seasons.
A lot of them stretch out their storylines over 20 or so episodes, having a lame "bad guy of the week" filler episode every other week - from what I've watched, Game of Thrones, Dexter and Breaking Bad are examples of shows that don't really do this.

Chuck had a fair few of them so I can see why some people would have stopped watching it.

Rob, I think you should just stick to pay-channel shows :D - as all of the ones you've mentioned are from cable TV (AMC, Showcase, HBO). Chuck, like Alcatraz, Lost, Fringe, Prison Break etc are from the network channels like Fox, NBC and ABC, which is basically our BBC, C4 and ITV, so they're pressured to release 20-episode seasons and usually have diluted humour, violence or stories as it has to appeal to the masses.

@ Person of Interest fans:
have you watched the episode 13?
OMG, that was amazing !!
I don't have words to describe how great was it, full of events, thriller, mystery of that woman, great to have Zoe Morgan back ..
I have doubts about that mystery woman, I think she's John's ex-boss.. Secret services agents said that John killed her, but I don't think so ..
anyway, that episode is my all-times second favourite episode of all series I watched, after Lost's The constant ..

Just watched the pilot of Touch and we both REALLY enjoyed it. Possibly the best pilot of a TV show that I've seen in a long time. Looking forward to it starting properly.

Completely agree, to enjoy it I think you can't have a cynical bone in your body but if you're a sappy mofo like me you love it, and possibly have to confess even getting moisty eyed during it

Unfortunately I'm a cynic, so couldn't get past certain things about the show. It really reminds me of Heroes, a show I really disliked. Each to their own. :))

I agree with Milanista in this one. This show needs 2 or 3 Swarengen, Stringer Bells or Tito Pullos to make it appealing for me! ;)

PS: My wife likes it, though...

So it's decided, Touch is for girls. :) (I clearly need to try it out.)

I've just started watching Suits and quite enjoy it. It's nothing amazing but sharp enough to keep interest.

Really enjoyed the pilot of The River!

Yeah, I quite enjoyed it. A bit silly and made me laugh a couple of times, and the tension is ruined by advert breaks but the story is intriguing and I'm interested to see how it pans out.

If you like Paranormal Activity, you'll like this really.

Advert breaks? What are they? Don't think I've seen an advert break for about 7 years ;)

Well there were no adverts but when it cuts to black for a good few seconds, it completely kills the tension.

You can't have this really tense moment, something happen with this loud, creepy music ... and then a black screen for five seconds ... and then try and resume that atmosphere again. It just doesn't work.

Well if it's a really tense show it gives me a second to breathe ;) Haven't watched the pilot yet though, think I'll wait until there's a few more episodes :)

Well episodes 1 & 2 aired at the same time so there's enough to watch now if you want to give it a go. Two episodes should give you an idea if you'll like it or not, I guess.

I really enjoyed the first half of the season, haven't watched ep. 8 yet. I do agree that the single "cheap"* location was dissapointing from a journey perspective. But other than that I thought it was still really good.

* Cheap in a production way.

Watched the pilot of Sons Of Anarchy yesterday, and I couldn't help myself thinking Ola Toivonen plays Jackson. :P
