The TV Show Thread

Thats what i mean too. Last fringe episode was back in novemember mate.

I have actually forgotten what the hell has happened so far in fringe. the only thing i remember is that bloke has come back. thats all.

I hate long breaks, ruins the momentum of the series. I think after 2-3 episodes there will be another break :(

Dont know if i should start watching it again or just wait till seasons finished and then watch it back to back.

the Episode title was "Back to Where You've Never Been" ..
before the episode I thought they will reveal where was Peter between the moment he vanished in season 3 and the moment he reappeared in season 4 ..
Why no one asked him what's the last thing he remembers before he appear in the lake ?

Fringe;

Peter's seperated from his timeline, I don't know why they havn't asked him what he remembers, but it probably wouldn't be of any significance.

What we have now is two universes where nobody recognises Peter as an adult because on both sides in this timeline he died as a child, on "our" side because of the illness and one on the "other" side because the Observer didn't pull him out of the lake and he drowned.

In this timeline though, David Robert Jones is alive (because in the other timeline he was killed by Peter) and he is responsible for creating the new human-shapeshifters.

Peter is trying to get back to his own timeline (the one all previous seasons take place in), at the moment we have 4 universes;

Original universe (original timeline)
Alternate universe (original timeline)

Original universe (alternate timeline)
Alternate universe (alternate timeline)

It's bloody confusing, but with some well written episodes, it could be quite special! :)

the alternate universes are equivalent to alternate timeline ..
so, it hasn't to be like that in Fringe, it has to be 4 alternate universes .. I mean, the new timeline where Peter didn't exist, is a whole new alternate universe ..
I hope you understand me ..

Still pretty heavy rumours Fringe will be cancelled right? Hopefully they can at least wrap up the story, unlike certain other shows that were cancelled.

Bugger, looks like Filesonic is doomed as every link to it has gone now. I really don't want to go back to torrents for my TV shows :(

Usenet.

There were quite a few $6-$7 deals around Christmas, I got one with thecubenet, $71.88 ($5.99 a month) for 12 month's unlimited access with SSL and 50 connections, 1118 day's retention, pretty good deal, speed is fairly good, I have a 200Mbit connection but generally get 100-120Mbit which is good enough for most people! Right now they're doing 12 months for $81.50 on a recurring yearly payment, works out at $6.79 which is hard to beat

Just watched Game of Thrones Season 1.

Got hooked on it! Had heard great things about the book and well the TV Show didn't let down either. It was pretty decent. VERY GRAPHIC!

Shame only 10 episodes though and such a long hiatus between the two seasons!

Anyone watch Person of Interest (With Jim Caviezel) or the comedy Rules of Engagement here? How do you like 'em?

We stopped watching "Person Of Interest" after three episodes or so. The same thing every week, it just felt too cheesy and nothing really happening.

Watched episode three of "Alcatraz" last night and again, we're not convinced that we'll stick with that either. Same thing every week with the odd main story bit thrown in for fun. A bit like a poor cop drama/CSI with time travel thrown in.

Hmm so Work It is so terrible it gets destroyed by all critics and viewers online, cancelled after two episodes, just watched the first two episodes and the wife and I laughed out loud numerous times and we both thought it was hilarious, is something wrong with us??? ;)

Yes Breaking Bad is not canceled, but the next season is the last though, it should start this year still.

And oh yes Southland is amazing! I'm loving it again.

Chuck - Series Finale

Despite its faults, Chuck ended the way it deserved.
These five years have been lot of joy and fun to watch.
I will definitely miss it.

Heard good things apart from from Milanista, who said he turned it off after ten minutes!

It reminded me of why I hated Heroes so much.... it's also written by the same guy.

I think it's hard for me to like Sci-Fi shows from massive networks like Fox, with Lost being the exception (in fact, it wasn't THAT Sci-Fi and was more the drama that I enjoyed).
