I have been playing PES 2015 ML on superstar and what a sadistic game lol the CPU has every advantage you can imagine you rarely get a free kick and your passing on 1 bar is erratic and even more extremely difficult with a Serie B team as it should be. Since being tired of playing pes 2021 and looking for a game to get me immersed 2015 really has done the job though along with it being a real challenge vs the AI and im actually enjoying how brutal it is.

I finished 12th in Serie B in my first season with Pescara and in the summer I had a plan of what I was missing and everything I wanted to improve with my new signings worked like my new DMF Cameroon player Loe who has been an absolute rock after the first season with the lightweight ageing Pazienza who couldn't win a header or play a decent pass. Also signed was young Barcelona B striker Dongou who has enough pace to still be useful while I develop him in training. We find ourselves 8th and in the playoffs with 4 games to go this season and had a cup run to the QF where Fiorentina destroyed us 6-1 on agg

I would never claim the AI on 2015 is as dynamic as 2021 but there are things that I have been missing like the fact teams will dominate possession against me (Frosinone 74% of the ball in our 1-1 draw) the skill moves where the AI will skin 2 or 3 of my players especially if I jump in and the goalkeeper being an absolute mixed bag of world class and useless from game to game so you never feel quite sure with your finishing where to put it. You almost know the routines in 2021 but 2015 really catches you out where you think ahh this is a goal and then something totally unexpected happens.

Maybe once I finally step up into Serie A the game will fall apart with higher rated players but right now its perfect for my skill level where every game is a real battle. PES 2015 is really the grandfather of all subsequent games until 2021 and I struggle to understand why they removed so many of its good aspects

some useful random tips for anyone playing it

save your game then jump in and out to change the match weather from night/day/rain the stadium background will let you know whats been selected

when the AI pass it around their own half for too long which can be annoying use the D pad to drop you defensive line and 9 times out of 10 they will pass forward again

*Rawore and Canuch works but you can't modify them with edit mode.

In most cases you'll need to find the bytes above twice.
To make the changes permanent you'll need to hex edit the SLPM_661.69 (JLWE9, on other game it will be with different game id.) and the over.afs file inside your iso.

Note : Most of the teams do not work and it's mostly useful for making the Become a Legend/Fantasista teams to be playable. (JLWE9 is an exception.)

how did you make the teams appear in the exhibition match mode? i made something bad and now they are only playable in Cup/League mode, and in Cup/League mode i accidentally obliterated the Arab teams league

I'm currently playing on the PC with my own OF and it's worth it especially playing around with tactics to improve the game because it works

In my option file for a few teams I gave them a different style of play in custom formation like if they play short passing in offensive formation and defensive I would set custom to long ball this way teams will be more varied in play and keep you guessing

I also used a PC tool to give every winger and full back the Early cross card so the AI put more crosses in it definitely improved the amount of crosses by an estimated 25% for me

@saintric Hey man, what match duration are you playing in PES 2015? I've settled for 13 minutes as it is long enough to have "somewhat" realistic ML simulated scores, I wish I could play longer though but then the sim scores blow up. Thanks. :)

I only play 10 minutes for me that's the best for realistic scores in simulated scores and me vs the AI. The league table looks pretty realistic for me although might be too short for some people

With no new PES games being released (except that abomination efootball pay as you go game) playing 2021 can get a bit boring so I went back to play the older fox engine games and just appreciate the things they do differently and the flaws bother me less these days

2015 with some adjustments is enjoyable and I love the difficulty

I use gameplay by jenkey exe along with Klashmans tactics and a custom option file changes to make sure the AI uses the trait cards correctly

think of it as like an older more basic version of PES 2017 I guess thats the closest comparison I can make. Although the modern games do everything a lot better in most areas they sort of filtered out the random moments over the years. I really loved that about the old PES games you would see some wild unexpected stuff happen

I find this still happens in 2015 especially during a ML season and it's keeping me playing game after game

Can u please post where i can get those, i wanna try it to see if it s like the old ps2 pes games but with better graphics, i need my football fix, still haven t found it 100%, i ve been playing fifa 17 with sliders , it s good, but build up play not like PES unfortunately

Q: Do you get option files for WE 2010?
A: I got a fantastic one from www.winningeleven.sg. It's based on the kit and emblem files of PES 2010 (Jackwhobra) option file and it's brilliant.

Q: What about chants?
A: Just create a new playlist called KONAMI_WE and copy and paste all the chants that you had in KONAMI_PES. The load from the game.

Q: Is WE 2010's superstar more difficult than PES 2010's top player?
A: Yes, of course it is more difficult. But for now, I'm sticking with professional. That's good enough challenge for me.

Q: Is it worth buying WE 2010 when you already have PES 2010?
A: if you're a pro evo freak, go get it. Others, don't, only because you may not appreciate the difference.

As we get more questions being answered, I'd add to the above list.

EDIT: The biggest difference is the PACE of the game. Winning Eleven is beautifully paced. The game simulates football like no other football titles have (including PES5 and PES6). Without giving the game a good go, I started tweaking the top speed, dribble speed and passing speed stats to slow the game down. I did that for quite a few teams. Then I realised that the tweaking wasn't helping. I went back to the original stats. I reset to original stats for all teams. Then started playing match after match using different teams. If anything, some of the stats need increases and not decreases.

I have upped the agility, balance and response values so the game can run smoothly. I then upped the aggression, teamwork and tenacity so that the AI can be more attacking. As far as the game speed is concerned I have not made any changes to stats.

Now the WE 2010 graphics are really eye-candy, the animations are so organic and lovely and now the AI beats me more often than not. I must say, this is the best football gaming experience I've had. I have a lot more to say but I'll say it later, in a dedicated post.

The Top Speed and Dribble speed. Kaka having 99 in dribble speed and 87 as a Top Speed doesn't mean he run faster on the ball than off it.

As a couple explained here before, DS is influenced by the top speed. If the player has a 80 TS, can have 85 DS, but that does not mean that he is faster with the ball than without it (that is impossible), what it means is that 85 is a percentage of that 80 TS. Lets say, 85% of that Top Speed...

Thanks for your reply! I found in this website a season 06/07 patch for PES2011, but it has many plauer as Dummy... If I could to play this one or another like that, it would be great. Do you know if there is a patch like this one? It is no problem if I have to play an older PES, but i want to enjoy this season!

Still addicted to 2015

After losing in the playoff final last season I still havent got promotion but in the 3rd season its a crazy title chase with 2 games left.

With 3 teams in with a chance (Catania mathematically could still do it) these last few games have been so tense I have been winning 1-0 and just holding on.

We would be top but lowly Varese parked the bus against us and had superman in goal in our 0-0 draw at home but if we can at least clinch the automatic 2nd place promotion I will take it just to get out of this league

I guess the change this season was going more defensive and investing in Livorno Center back Castellini who has become a rock for us. We have drawn a lot of games we would have lost with last seasons squad

Well that was a disaster FFS started the final day top and ended it 3rd.

Empoli probably deserved it as they were relegated the season before and easily the best team I played against. Long ball merchants Perugia are going to get murdered in serie A their tactic of spamming long balls at their 69 rated strikers skull in hope of scoring won't get very far.

PES 2015 can be real brutal in ML.. We had an even match vs Carpi but I wasted the best chance to score clipping the post and almost losing at the end when Carpi hit the underside of the bar before clearing it away (heres some retro images)

Playoffs again which are 4 games in 6 days so your team are completely dead. Got past Cesena after a disaster of a 1st leg going 3-0 down with 10 men and a corrupt referee who gave them a penalty because a gust of wind hit their player.

I honestly felt like turning it off but pulled back 2 late goals to just stay in it. The 2nd Leg at home Cesena dominated but I sneaked a 2-0 win and parked the bus soon as we got in front

The final was against Bologna. This was a final where a few ex teammates came up against each other. One such as our old defender Salamon who was traded for Aquafresca (not my best decision) and the ageing Diamante who Bologna let go on a free pre season.

The matches lacked excitement but they were both close, tense games with little chances either end. But finally did it after 3 years and clinched promotion.. Thank god was starting the think I was a journeyman manager in the mould of Steve Bruce.

Going to lose a lot of loaned players next season but i'll stick with the youth players led by the classy but declining veteran Diamanti and spend the rest keeping our captain Perin (who is way too good for us) at the club . If the games against serie A teams in the cup are anything to go by I expect a low finish.

I have never taken 3 years to get promotion on any PES game before and haven't see so many varied matches since PES 3-6 days. It has its faults but 2015 is an absolute old school feeling PES I have no idea how they went from this freedom and randomness to the rigid 2021. Although this is using Jenkeys GP exe and I have no idea how good a PES player he is/was but if he's as good as he is at modding then no wonder the difficulty level is sadistic on superstar

special mention for Bjarnason who announced he was retiring at the end of the season aged 28. I hadn't played him since the first season so I put him on the bench for the final and subbed him on in the 80th minute up front to get a goodbye goal. He actually had the last kick of the game blasting it over the bar from 12 yards with the ref blowing full time straight after lol what a way to go out

Guys, I'm having quite a persistent issue with PES 2010 Smoke Patch..
I want to play with Sheffield Wednesday, but the kits don't correspond to the team.

As you guys can see, the patch comes with its own kitserver, GDB, and map.. And the folder name is correct in the text file, but the kits are completely off.

Wonder if there's a solution to this issue. I've tried detaching and reattaching kitserver, and reinstalling the patch as well, to no avail.
Anyway, any help would be appreciated!
