The Movies Thread

So for those who couldnt stand the series and can't stand Star Wars is it still recommended? I like what JJ Abrams has done so Im not sure if it feels totally different and contemporary or is still too much like the old stuff.
 
I've never seen anything Star Trek related before and I enjoyed it.

Also the guy that plays the Russian kid, where is he from? I'm sure I've seen him in a TV comedy before...

Saw it yesterday and really enjoyed too, never saw anything from Star Trek either.
 
I remember now, he was in Huff.
 
Star Trek - 8/10

Much better than I expected and pretty good really!

Die Hard 4.0 - 7/10

Good effects and tons of action, just don't think much of Willis and his acting seemed a bit wooden as usual.

Kingdom of Heaven (BD) 8.5/10

Very long film but its worth it.
 
Das Leben der Anderen (The Lives Of Others) 8.5/10

Really good film, good acting, interesting story and didn't feel like it dragged despite the length of the film. Worth watching if you don't mind subtitles (or speak German ;) )
 
Angels and Demons is very much ok , liked the DaVinci Code book better then the movie, this one was the other way around.

Not read the book but I liked the movie and it didn't feel like it dragged despite it going on for over two hours.
