loved it, could've done without all the 80s teen slang but other than that pretty damn good. split the room though, only me and 1 other person liked it

Really funny. Paul Rudd & Jason Segel worked well as a comedy pairing. Also has some nice eye candy in Rashida Jones & Jaime Pressly ;)

Still smiling at the poker night scene. If you've seen it you'll know what I mean!

Caught up on a few the weekend.

King of Kong Really enjoyed it, but I like documentaries and video games, so no brainer! 8/10

Yes Man Ugh! Fail... the book is far more interesting and fuck knows why they changed so much. Always nice to see Zooey Daschanel though! 5/10

The Wrestler Absolutely awesome and no wonder Roddy Piper was in tears after watching it - I bet he isnt the only 'end-of-career' type wrestler watching this with an open jaw. Great performances all round - and holy shit, how hot is Marisa Tomei in the buff too! Amazing :) 9/10

Quite enjoyed it. Its basically what Heroes should be like since the story is more coherent and actually has little/no plot holes. Thought the effects were awesome too... and dear god Camilla Belle is beautiful!

Me, my dad and I think 90% of the audience fell asleep.
It sucks bad.

2/10 for the opening credits.

Never Back Down - 6.5/10

Karate Kid meets MMA. Watchable movie, very simple plot but entertaining enough I guess. Amber Heard is gorgeous :)
 
That new Star Terk movie gets a 7.5/10 from me. It's a decent film with nice special effects, but wasn't all that great. I'm not a Star Trek fan though.

Its a great movie and the picture and sound are phenomenal. The best PQ to date.

BD is the short term, BRD sounds awkward.
 
Blood Diamond - 10/10

Brilliant, just brilliant. Superb acting, interesting story, great drama and action ... just wow. Loved it.
 
DiCaprio is a top actor

Now you know what i was talking about when i said Far Cry 2 had a Blood Diamond feel to it :)

yeah the whole bit about him calling her on the phone at the end with everyone closing in on him is a bit cheese, good movie other than that part though

That was a very, very pleasant movie.
Visually it's impressive and I also found the score amazing.
The film has no boring sequences.
Bring on the sequel !
