local imax is only showing the localized version, and i am not watching anything that's voiced over by some shitty german voice actors.

so i guess either i'll fly out to the uk to see it or pass on it :)
 
Has anyone seen the South Park about it? Very funny. I haven't seen Avatar so can't say how right they are but I assume they're not far off. :D
 
I haven't watched South Park in YEARS. I should probably watch it again though, I might try and get some episodes.

Think this movie is only out in the States but I managed to come across it. Not a bad film, decent cast (Matt Dillon, Jean Reno, Laurence Fishburne) but the story wasn't the best. It's about a heist that goes wrong basically. Wouldn't watch it again and I don't think the cinema's here are missing much but it's not bad.

I liked this. Different to most films around but I couldn't help thinking Clint Eastwood just wanted to be a bit racist to some Chinese people for a bit with the amount of comments he came out with! Good film.
 
Pandorum (Blu-Ray) = 7.5/10

A little reminiscent of 'The Descent' but in space.

Some twists along the way and anyone who has played the game 'Dead Space' will see similarities.

Excellent in places but ultimately a little flawed and could have been so much more.

Still a good viewing for Sci-Fi/Horror enthusiasts...
 
Sherlock Holmes - 7/10

Good enough in its own right but it could've been any story if you changed the name of the characters really. It had little resemblence to the actual Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson, especially with all the fighting/shootouts/explosions etc.

Not a bad film, worth a watch but disappointed as well.

I agree... it has a lot of potential and quite a good story... but just some odd things could've really made this movie great.
 
Se7en - (Blu-ray) = 10/10

I know it's not a new release and most people who enjoy films will have seen it years ago but just got my hands on a Blu-Ray copy of this and it blew me away all over again.

One of the greatest endings to any film ever IMO...

Truly a great piece of film making...

If you've never seen it, get it...:WORSHIP:
 
I'm halfay through 28 Days Later and it's just so boring and cheesy. And where are all of the cars and bodies?
 
The sequel is much much better, without being a great movie, but at least has more fun than the first one.

Anyway, the first hour of Zombie's party still rules above both of them.
