Try watching The Final Destination then come back and see if PA the worst film you have seen

I turned it off after the first scene because it was fucking shocking

It wasnt great, but it definately wasnt bad. Its one of those that you'd probably enjoy a lot more if you watched it alone at night or something.

Land of the lost

7/10

Very stupid, but made me laugh quite a bit. Anna Friel (However you spell it?) is foxy in it aswell ;))

maybe...

i'd say, if you're gonna watch it, make sure you DO watch it alone and at night. i can see how it might be a bit freaky, especially the ways its done 'documentary style', but just make sure you DO NOT watch it in bed if you're alone, otherwise you will probably fall asleep!

I'd watch a feature length version, quality indeed.

Just got back from Avatar at the IMAX in Birmingham. It was just phenomenal. The pace of the film was perfect - there were some bits where I was surprised at how quickly a scene would progress, but not in a bad way. It could have been a much longer film so 2 hours and 40 minutes did not drag one bit.

I have never seen a film like Avatar, that's for sure. The special effects and sound design I would say, are the greatest I have ever experienced in a film. Together they create a world that is just so.. easy to believe. I can't think of the words to describe it, but I have never seen a science fiction film that I have 100% bought into. For just under three hours, I felt like I was on Pandora.

I have also never seen a film that I have been so hyped for, that has completely blown my expectations out of the water. The storyline is nothing groundbreaking, but at the same time it wasn't as predictable as I thought it would be which was a pleasant surprise. I think it helped the film greatly that, apart from probably Sigourney Weaver, the bulk of the cast were not big names.

I could go on and on about it but I'd just bore everyone, I'm sure I already have. I will also say, that this is only the second film I've ever seen to effect me so deeply, physically and mentally (Requiem For A Dream being the other film).

Predictably, it gets a 10 out of 10 from me and happily sits as one of the greatest films I have ever seen.

Avatar. 7/10.

Guess you went to the 2d version :P

Might manage to see this monday, not actually bothered about the story but am realy interested to experience the 3d effects. Years ago when I was a kid they had a 3d movie with MJ at Disneyworld which was really a lot of fun, and that was nearly 20 years ago now.

I just came back from seeing this in 3d. I have never seen a 3d movie until now and i WOW i am gob smacked. The CGI in 3d was absoleuty stunning in every way and some of the scenes were beutiful and real, So beutiful that was upset when parts of their world was being destroyed.

In terms of the actual movie, well what i can i say, it had everything. Romance, Action and a bit of comedy on top of that. None of the scenes looked out of place or over stretched and each character played a major role in this movie. I couldnt see any plot holes but im sure their are some if you really REALLY look for them but for me i could not see any obvious ones at all.

overal this is a 9/10 movie for me. I would give it a 10 if they diddnt hold back on some of the fight scenes as i felt it could have been a bit more brutal. i dont like it when for example, you see someone about stab someone in the head but see the camera turn away as soon as they do it but ahh well it is a family film after all so cant expect those types of brutal scenes to be shown.

i enjoyed it. It was a fun ride and i am considering investing on a home theatre 3d setup in the future.

Thanks Cameroon, the wait was well worth it.
