Rambo - First Blood

Forgot how good this film is. Just watched it again and Stallone is awesome in it. Just so badass, and good acting when he actually speaks. Going to watch 2 and 3 in the coming few days.

Tale of two Sisters fucked my head up

there was one point where i literally shit myself as well

The Dark Knight - 10/10

Lives up to the hype, BRILLIANT movie! The Joker was amazing, evil as any villain I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to watching it again :DD

Oh the cinema was packed alright, never seen a queue for a film in my cinema before, the car park was a nightmare and queues out of the doors!

The Dark Knight

An alright dark movie.

Nolan tried to do a sophisticate movie but forgot the use of good dialogues. It could have been more fun and with less scenes.

The pace is good, the movie is not boring (but a lot of talking) but something is not right for me : most of the scenes are very short !

The Joker & Dent : very interesting characters and acting.

The Batman :
biggest sonar ever, really... He is a guest in his own movie. Even Bruce Wayne or Gordon are more important !

6+/10

i'm seeing dark knight tonight-never been completely sold on DC comic book films, compared to marvel they always come over a little corny and lightweight, but i'll reserve my judgement till i've seen this one.....

Speed Racer

The film has its good moments, and his own identity. Visually it's superb. It can look childish but it's very fun and funny (I found the little bro and his monkey great).

I really liked it.

7+/10

Dark Knight's best scene:

(It will probably be deleted soon due to copyright reasons and stuff...)

Have you seen the deleted version where
no one gets out of their seats and the joker ends up squatting over
it?

Just watched Wall-E. Tbh I thought it was mehhh. The 2nd half of it was much better than the first. I still think Toy Story is the king. Animations just aren't my thing.

Watched Saving Private Ryan after a LONG time.

Brilliant, brilliant movie. Best war action movie EVER.

10/10

Just went to see Dark Knight at the imax in Manchester.

10 minutes into the trailers we get a powercut and everyone has to be evacuated. Paid £7 and after almost an hours wait only got a shitty free cinema ticket. About 1000 people chucked out of the cinema. What a farce.

Same for me with SW episode III.
3 powercuts ! And the cinema dared to told us that we couldn't stay because new customers had arrived to see the next show. It' was a big riot and we stayed until they decided to show the movie and give free tickets...

I go to the theater to enjoy a moment with my family and it took 6 hours !!!

At least it was only during the trailers.

I just saw dark knight and well umm it has definitely met my expectations in many ways. First off, the pace of the movie was perfect, a mixture of suspense, action and drama. Spot on period.

Length of movie: spot on also, not a dull moment throughout the movie, ever line, every scene, every character was absolutely great and interesting.

Now who stole the show? Its obvious. JOKER i.e. Mr Ledger was ABSOLULETLY AMAZING. Sooo amazing that I had a VERY hard time believing it was Mr. Ledger behind that painted face! The way he played out his character was totally different to what he normally plays and his actual personality. It was like day and night watching him. Its like watching jack black star in a epic drama movie with no comedy scenes or anything and making it look as if jack black does these sorts of roles with his eyes closed. Heath Ledger really was amazing. So amazing that I have to say that he has definitely played a better joker then Nicolson himself!

Before this movie, I didn’t rate Heath Ledger at all but after this, I really hate this guy for tossing his life away like that because he could have had a wonderful career has a actor and could have been a legend with the likes of tom hanks and denzal Washington.

The only downside to this movie I can think of is that Heath Ledger was soo good that my current fav actor Christian bale looked like a amateur. A very poor show from him but I think its not because pf Christian bale’s performance, but because Heath Ledger was That good.

All and all this definitely deserves to be on my top 20 list of best movies but number 1 that it is currently in imdb. Nope still not quite there. Had all the actors gave the same energy and commitment has Heath Ledger then we can discuss this being in the top 5.

Supposedly he died from a prescription drugs overdose, and not because he took too much, but because he made a deadly mix of them. So... he probably didn't mean to kill himself at all...

Now I've heard a lot about this scene, but to me, that just looked shit.

How quick was that. The guy just gets up for no reason, and bam, thats it?

I now have every right to be sceptical about it if thats the best scene.

Funny and terryfing.

If you still haven't watched the movie you shouldn't be watching spoilers now, should you?

And it's not the best scene, but one that really stands out.

Everybody loves the movie, don't be sceptical.

did you know that they asked Hedge Ledger's parents if they wanted to "alter" the ending after his death?

He died because he had trouble sleeping and adjusting to normal life after he had finished the movie but couldnt. during the making fo this film i heard he would lock himself in a room all day and practise being the joker. he also diddnt have much sleep as well so he realy was in to character indeed. he outshined everyone. Bale looked liked a passanger in this wonderful joy ride of a movie

i would not say it deserves number 1 though, its a great movie but IMO its not better then some of my favourites siuch has saving private ryan and the godfather :)

Real shame, he would've had a wonderfull career in front of him. Guess that this will turn him into a sort of a legend like so many before that died so young.

About his death, I bet that if he didn't live in the land of over-medication (U.S.), he would still be alive...

Edit: It just occured to me, I can think of only one actor that could reprise the part of the Joker in this generation:

But he would probably want to do it his way, never the Heath Ledger way.

About #1 on imdb, who really cares anyway. It will probably drop down with time, but anyway, who gives a crap about internet lists. It's your own that matters... :)

For instance, on imdb the 3 Lord of the Rings movies and The Matrix are ahead of movies such as:

Lawrence of Arabia
Taxi Driver
Apocalypse Now
Platoon
The Deer Hunter
Braveheart
Gladiator
Blade Runner
Once Upon a Time in America
2001: A Space Odyssey

2001 is 81 on the list, scandalous... :D

So, as I said, who cares? ;)
