Tim on his way to see "Mamma Mia!"

Saw Mamma Mia last Friday, no where near as good as the West End musical. They have almost murdered some songs, plus it is very badly overacted and embarrassingly overacted in some parts!
what was you expecting? seriously?

Going to see Wall-E tonight, early impressions seem excellent with many people saying best animated film made.

Going to see Wall-E on Monday, so in the meantime I'll await your opinions Dags.

Oh and another thing, I've never seen Juno, but I want to see what all the fuss is about, and just because I've been paid, I'm highly tempted to buy it on Blu-Ray, anyone whose seen it could give me their opinion on it?

Just watched The Departed, really good film. I got the impression that there were too many killings in the last 5 minutes though. :DD

Didn't go to see Wall-E but will go this morning.

Miguel, have you seen Infernal Affairs?

Junos a decent film

pretty funny as well

Wall-E ... wow.

Amazing movie, had everything you'd want from an animated movie. No, everything you'd want from a movie full stop. Really is a top notch film and I'd agree with critics who say it IS the best animated film made.

10/10

:TU:

It's your usual Pixar movie. It has BAGS of humour, sad moments, joyful moments, interesting characters, nice artwork and just a load of personality.

You really do start to attach to the characters too, especially Wall-E :DD

Different to those yeah. I didn't like The Incredibles much either. Monsters Inc was great though, Cars was average. Wall-E is much, much better.

I was in this movie as an extra for about 5 seconds, right after the gun salute in the graveyard towords the end.

That's the original version of the film, right? I don't think I've ever watched it. Is it better/worth watching?

Oh, I wondered who the well Chris Wright was hugging.

Yep, it's far better. Better story without all of the Hollywood nonsense thrown in.

Just watched The Machinist, was told in work that it was one of the best films the guy had seen (and he constantly watches movies).

Good film, very creepy and some awesome acting by Bale. 8/10 from me.
