Sex and the City 2 - 1/10
Always enjoyed the series as they were pretty on the edge for the time, the 1st movie was ok aswell as it finished the open story of the series. However this was total cack.

:DD

The Good Wife is another very good show that probably isn't aimed at my demographic.

The Best Man - 9/10

Desperate Houswives is even worse!

I also always enjoyed Will&Grace. What can I say, I find gay humor amusing.

So does this now make me the "The Only Gay At Evo-Web". I'm pretty sure it would take far more to beat Tim.

Back on thread...

Saw Let Me In last night and thought it was awesome. Not read the book or seen the original film, so didnt really know what it was about.

Thought it was cast perfectly and the girl in it played her character brilliantly - very haunting the way she played on the other kids emotions for her own selfish needs.

The whole film is very emotional - dont mean I was in floods of tears, I mean if you are expecting a flat out horror, you may be disappointed.

8/10

Agree, but I think the original film is a bit better in terms of atmosphere. I watched Jackass 3D and really enjoyed it. Thought the 2nd half was OK, but the first half was ridiculously funny - a lot of people at the cinema were shouting out "OH MY GOD" for most of the stuff. The actual film clearly had stunts to try out the 3D technology, and I thought it was done very well. No headaches or cross-eyes for me.

Due Date - 6/10

It has some funny moments here and there but overall disappointing.

RED - 8/10

Helen Mirren using an automated weapon is what put this film on my radar (trailer) and it didn't disappoint.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice - 7.5/10

Quite liked it for what it was and would've loved it if I was a kid.

The car chase bit was pretty good too, especially with the car changes

Paranormal Activity 2 - 6.5/10

Watched it last thing at night before bed - shit me up a little. Had some jumpy bits in it and was as effective and believable as the first i.e. no ridiculous events, all could happen I suppose. Overall, I think the first one was better. It had more suspense, mainly because of a more gradual build up to the climax, whereas in the second film the 'activity' was a bit more in your face. I don't think they overdid it, it just seemed more predictable in the second.

The American - 3/10

Now I like George Clooney.

As an actor and an upcoming director and producer he's shaping his versatility up very nicely... BUT....

This is a stinker.

Don't fall for people stating this is a well shot, beautiful piece of cinematography, a work of art... It's a snorefest... Zzzzzzzzzzzz

Paranormal Activity - 7/10

A lot better than I expected it to be, genuinely creeped me out at times and probably not a good idea for me to watch it before I go off to bed

Oh, and Katie Featherston is gorgeous :D

Trafic always seemed to me the worst Tati film by far. That would make it a 8.5 for me, being the rest perfect 10s each one of them.

Yesterday I watched Casablanca and The big sleep. They never get old. Good old cinema. 10 for them , too.

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 - 7/10

Soooo slow! Considering tons has been missed out of the book, there's plenty of times where they could've chopped out a load of "filler" and put in other bits of the story. The darkness of how the HP series has gone is really clear to see as well, VERY dark film.

I only just watched the Half Blood Prince last night and thought that was also a very dark film. Looking forward to seeing the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

Monsters - boring out of 10.

Still waiting for something to happen. Should have read reviews before watching this piece of rubbish. It's got the most misleading trailer ever on TV right now.

If you're into low budget love stories then this is a film for you.

The Social Network - 8/10

Enjoyable movie and didn't get bored once throughout. Bit of an eye-opener, good acting, just a good film overall.
