Kick-Ass

I loved the comics but I was disappointed by the ending.
The movie is just sick.

During the 1st half of the movie nothing changes from the comics, but the second part is completely different : the flows are gone and this is an amazing job.

What a fantastic film, I wasn't very optimistic about it when I heard about it, but when I watched it I had at least 5 moments were I cried in laughter. The movie was great, I loved the story and there were so many moments to enjoy.

Highly recommended.

That was actually a comment I found very strange during the release of Angels&Demons. They were talking about Tom Hanks' character and he said something along the lines of; "They just want to see Tom Hanks". Not sure if it was a joke or not, but in the context of the interview it seemed serious. Although it was on Letterman so maybe not.
 
Kick Ass 7/10

I did like it.....wasn't what I was expecting and it definately wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. But i did really like it, but I left the cinema feeling a bit dissapointed by it and I don't know why?
 
Clash of the Titans 4/10

The 3d was rubbish... too dark. The story had many plot holes and was a modified version of Greek mythology. All the actors looked like Liam Neeson and the female characters werent very hot. The special effects were alright, so thats where the points go.
 
Zack and Miri Make A Porno 8/10

Funny, made me laugh out loud a few times, girlfriend liked it too. Shame the ending was soppy as fuck.
 
The Crazies = 5/10

Decidely average zombie/virus infestation movie... Seen it done a thousand times before... Dull acting and poor concept.

Spanish horror movie in the style of Blair Witch/Cloverfield/Paranormal Activity etc. Started well but as it went on got a bit predictable and I predicted how it would end with about 20mins left! Not a bad film though, acting was alright and the story was 'believable' to some degree (given it was basically a zombie movie).
 
Butterfly Effect 8/10

Was on E4 a couple of night back. Really good film I though and was a decent acting job by Ashton Kutcher. Had some silly moments but not to many to ruin it.
 
Loved both of those last films, really good and both had you thinking about them afterwards.
 
Knocked Up (BD) - 7/10

Decent film, should have been edited down to ninety minutes or so.

To me it's one of the best zombie movies of the last 10 years, besides Zombie's party. Maybe the fact that 2 friends of mine act in the movie as firemen helps a little... And some friends worked in the film as well in production.

More seriously, the film may not introduce nothing new, but is well done and entertains. And the ending, the last scene, was great, brutal. Did you know that there's no 3d at all? What you see is all REAL!
 
Yeah don't get me wrong it was good, and well done I just found the ending really obvious and thought they could have tried something different. Maybe I would give it 8/10 as I did enjoy it but I'm not particularly a fan of zombie movies anyway and I didn't find it that scary which is why I gave it 7.

Where the hell did they find a person that skinny for the last scene?! :LOL:
