Hmmm...it might just be Team Spirit. Although I remember having issues with some top level players back in the day. For example in PES 5 on PS2 ~10 years ago (my first PES game I've had at home) in my first ML I've bought Fernando Torres and he was the worst, literally the worst player ever. And who the hell knows why, he had one of the best stats in the game. :/

But in 2017, it might be just his individual TS. Check if his tactics match yours. Sometimes even when tactics and TS are okay, some players seem to require more playing time to do their best. Affection towards manager maybe plays a part in it too?

I guess we'll never know the full story, but I'd say you need quite some time to truly see whether someone's gud or not. Especially if you've paid so much monies for him

Gonna make a thorough check on him,he's a good winger,goal scoring only issue really.

Since I changed my tactics Rock teams are finding it difficult playing against me. . ..could be just plain old ML scripting in my favour.

Yeh Rock I should have lost. . . .I then beat Empoli away 3-5 . . it was 1-5 until a minute from the end when they got 2 goals . . .you're right I have dropped down again to -1.

My winning streak of 8 wins in a row came to an end with a 1-1 draw with Verona . . . ..next match v Ascoli away, Sampdoria had to come from behind late in the game to win 1-2 thanks to the sub Simeone's two headed goals. .. .now in 4th place in the league with 10 matches left and now we face Juventus the runaway leaders who are in great form.

Me,one game left,started playing my 15 again,that's proper manual passing in that game,and holy crap how tough it is.
Got beaten by Virtus Lanciano in the cup 3-1.

Second month:

Not as good as the first... I need a good striker. R. Castro is too old, Sergio León is not that fast, and Sanabria... I don't like him too much.

Welp. I lost this progress and I have to replay these matches. I sold R. Castro in time to sign Gabriel Jesús. Couldn't sell Sanabria and Sergio León: that will be done on Winter Transfer. I signed Dahoud, of course.

Now, with this second month again:
-Villarreal 0-4 Real Betis. I scored 2 free kicks (!) with Joaquín, Villarreal got 1 man OUT, so I went offensive and scored 2 more.
-Sevilla 0-0 Real Betis. I dominated the possession, but couldn't make it an advantage. Oh, and they got 2 man sent off, but it was too late for me to score... :/

It's hard to get this players play like I want them to play, but well, we are doing well so far. I really like to play with Lemina and Gabriel Jesús, they are so good. Odegaard is in the up-arrow-improving state.

I signed R. Becker, free agent, RB, 19yo, 73 OVR. I'm trying to sign Gabriel from Inter, because I couldn't sign T. Werner. Maybe I'll try later again with him... In the GK I signed Pau López, he has good passing stats. I'll try to sign A. Milik, too.

So far, so good.

Nope. I had a YouTube channel but with other games. Maybe I will start to do so only with PES 2018 like you and rock do, short videos with highlights when I have PES 2018 on PC. It's a shame 2017 does not have next gen graphics.

Also, a video footage it's easier to see than this 5 images per post I'm doing now

Since my last post .. Sampdoria were soundly beaten at home by Napoli 2-4. . .drew with Fiorentina 2-2 away and then beat Pescara 3-0. .so still hanging onto a place in the Champions league by a whisker . .difficult match next away to AC Milan.

Top Player, Manual Passing + Advanced Shooting. Yeah, while I was playing the match, I thought the same. But, indeed, Barcelona gives away too much space, and if you defend well, you can get them.

I don't want to make any exaggerated claims but I have been editing PES 2017 for the last few months almost every teams tactics trying to find a sweet spot for difficulty and its seemed to have worked a treat I have it playing so good right now im fine if PES 2018 disappoints me on release anyway basically I kept att play styles to how they are in real life but a good 80% of teams use Frontline pressure (very weak teams to all out def) I lessened the gaps/space between the DF MID ATT in fluid formations and pushed the back line higher in possession so they box you in this doesn't expose them to high through balls either as they move back as a unit out of poss

its made teams a lot harder to break down and they move beautifully going forward as they are all shaped correctly with correct player skills card applied to more players in all teams i also improved all center backs jump and heading accuracy but not enough to change their overall this has helped the crossing issue by a decent amount and some gk adjustments no defensive gk cards are assigned all in all im loving the ML I have just stared after months of editing and testing this will keep more more than happy if 2018 needs a few patches
