The Apple Thread - Macs, iPods & iPhones!

Yeah mine crashes a bit when using Safari, Grazing and Pulse. Its not just since iOS5 though, although that has contributed. iPad 1 is going the way of the iPhone 3G - I imagine it won't be powerful enough for the next major iOS update.
 
Dropped down to 4.3.3 and no crashes yet, Infinity Blade 2 loading and playing fine. Definitely an iOS 5 issue for me.
 
My missus sister has an iPhone 4 and her sleep/power button is broken. It's out of warranty but she took it to apple and they said £170 to fix it or £120 for a refurbed phone! I've just looked online and found a site that will fix it for £35.

Just wondering if anyone has used a site for something similar or can recommend one? Cheers.
 
Don't you have a local phone repair shop that'll do it? I know there's one near me that fixes all kinds of iPhone faults, cracked screens etc. A faulty button is hardly a hard task for a phone shop and surely better than sending your phone off to a website company that you can't just pop back into if there's a problem.
 
Oh ok, there must be a few in town yes, I thought maybe they'd need specialist stuff to do / open apple equipment? I'll tell her to go to the shops in town.

guys anyone know any apps for talk for free in mobile with WI-FI

im using magic jack on my ipod but it allows me to make calls just on USA&Canada is there any similary apps for make free calls also on europe ?

I mean to make free calls to mobile numbers , not both connected , example with magic jack i call my sister on her mobile or home phone without , just me I need to have connect , she dont need connect or anything , dont know if u understand :/ , so im looking for something similary as magic jack , just for europe coz magic jack allow to call just USA & Canadian numbers ....

I know what you mean, but it doesn't happen with the sync cable I just bought, but I do have that problem when I use this one I bought a while ago;

It charges the iPod fine though, so I just leave it alone while it's plugged in :).

huh, the us rights are sold thru the next world cup i think... trust me the US probably has the most soccer or football on tv then perhaps in other country in this hemisphere... i get practically every epl game, most seire a games, multiple la liga, bundesliga, league one, portugal, english championship every weekend not too mention the mexican league, as well as MLS
 
Yeah, before I got my giant dish, only live matches I could see were Champions League(2 per week), Europa League(2 per week), Dutch national team, German national team and Belgian national team.

Enjoying GBA classics with GBSPhone. :)

I foundd AirVideo too, very easy too stream stuff from a PC to I device.
 
I can't wait for the apple iPad 3 announcement and videos! I have convinced my misses to buy me an iPad 3 when I propose to her!
