Guy looks outstanding, I thought he was quite good for AC, but seen a bit more of him this season, but he's been super impressive.
Well done Barca, although I'm a Real man myself.

when was the last time atletico beat barça or real? I remember one that they'd given Barça their only loss in that season then (3-4 years ago). I don't remember one game they beat Real, though. it must be in the 90's, I guess (and they call it 'the Madrid derby'
) also their recent losses to Barça and Real was just sad and pathetic to watch. think they are jinxed like Benfica. I don't really expect a surprise tonight, either.

The lack of sportsmanship in this match is absolutely astounding. I don't watch a lot of La Liga - but good lord.
The diving has been spectacular, including the obligatory Ramos face-holding when his arm was touched, Di Maria with 3 rolls into a jump up and play on and of course the poor Atleti player that might have had the moisture from Ronaldo's boot touch his nose. Full forward dive from him.
Jose sent off for giving it out to the ref.
Punch thrown by Costa from the bench.
Coins hit Courtois.
Atleti bench threw 3 balls on to waste time (how old are these guys?)
Just glorious theatre, but I struggle to even think of this as sport. Closer to wrestling than real sports.

believe me, it's not because we lost, and ATM is our rival, but really they are the worst team in Spain in terms of fairplay, football morals , fans .. and they have no gameplay ..

Very important matches became disgusting in Spain because of dirtiness and teatro from every team, that's all. These acts are the death of sportsmanship.

easily the most disgusting game of the year. we know how nasty some spanish and portuguese players generally are but I think the ref's all to blame in this one. he was absolutely the main reason why this turned out to be a travesty of a match (the first time I've seen such a game between these two teams). he couldn't have done better raising the tension little by little with each of his ridiculous calls (going against both sides). clever piece of sh*t.
honestly, I couldn't care less about the winner of atletico-real games. I just wanted to have some fun by watching another entertaining atletico-real match but now I'm only left with anger. I do regret having watched this nasty game.

Courtois is the best young goalkeeper I've seen in years. He can develop into a world class one pretty quickly if all goes well with him.
I think it would be great for him to remain one more year at Atletico, and then do the jump to a bigger club later on.
