Sony PSP/Vita

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

a last question, what would be the best program to convert movie files into psp format?

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

OPM, don't buy lumines. i was desperate to get it, but it was really disappointing. unless you absolutely love puzzle games, then avoid it. it bored me after an hour or so...

if you're going on holiday, my advice would be to get hot shots golf and take along the original gameboy tetris for your puzzle fix. hot shots is brilliant! and you just wanna keep on playing and playing to unlock all the gold stars...

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

those two were my favorites...mhh...i need to test somehow lol :D

Guess what went missing in my move home guys.......my blinkin' 512 stick!:(
What's it doing outside the PSP?
Even though I have a 32mb stick, it never leaves the PSP.

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

I was movin' home and it's just got lost, particularly because it's an easy colour to lose (the Sony one) - wish I had had a pink one.....what I was doing taking it out of the psp, God only knows....

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

and what about the video format?

what format can PSP play?avi,meg,wmv....??

;)

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

you need to convert with programs from avi wmv, whatever to a special psp format, then copy to your psp.

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Anyone know how much the PSP will cost in UK, the value pack?

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Its expected to be around about that much.

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

And one more question, how does the interent work, jsut with a normal wireless connection?

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Do mpeg4 movies work on US machines e.g UK movies on a US PSP?

Thanx

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Yep, they're on the memory card you see, and thats standard the world over. The MP4 is just a file type that most PC's and Sony Clie's and other PDA's can use and you just transfer it on.

An MP4 wont have any region coding.

A WEP key is basically a encryption, blocking people from just logging onto the internet for free via hotspots

Ha ha ha....well in my area there are two different hotsopts where i use the internet for free...my brother has tried it on his laptop, which works well.

Can't wait to do some free surfing when i get my PSP :D

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Do Starbucks use WEP keys?

Re: PSP - The Official Thread

Anybody updated to the 2.0 firmware? I tried hooking up to the internet via my wireless router and it worked. Tried the old yahoo page first. A little tricky to navigate and certainly to type (web addresses you can bookmark) but ultimately, internet on the psp. Amazing!

ibu - any more games available in Japan recently since I was last there (upto June)?
