Sony PlayStation 4

Now that facebook has bought Oculus Rift (what the hell) the Playstation VR thingie seems more exciting to me.

About the PS2 games, are they actually promising Backwards compatibility? I thought the old stuff would be coming back in through PS Now.

I don't think the Oculus Rift will suffer that much after being bought by Facebook, the guys who make said they can now make it better and cheaper due to having extra money available for research.

The PS2 games compatibility will be via downloads I reckon as that way they can control how much the games cost and would generate more money for Sony.
But with PC emulation you can use both either an ISO or a disk inserted into the drive.

Uggh. Not much of interest other than "The Division" and "Destiny" on that list. Maybe the new Batman game? But not a lot. Early goings are tough.
 
Incomplete list. No FIFA, no PES, no Project Cars, no Uncharted... and many more I can't be bothered to list.
 
They cant put them on the list if they not officially been announced yet! We'd assume they are coming of course, but dont think Konami or EA have officially announced new versions yet.

Last of Us IS coming though!
 
Looks like we know what is up this month on PS Plus. Really disappointing if I'm honest, by far the weakest since I've been subscribed.

Mercenary Kings (PS4) - couldnt care less about, to he honest. Looks like a retro game to me.

PES2014 (PS3) - already played it, raged at it, sold it.
Sky Cooper (PS3) - couldn't care less.

Hotline Miami (Vita) - bought the bloomin' thing last month.
Moro GP (Vita) - might be okay.

We all know that Suuuupertalk and Placebo are anxious to dowload and play PES2014... they just don't have the balls to admit it :SMUG:

Hmmm not bad! MK looks decent, MotoGP will be good for nowt and never got PES14, so that will be a bonus! Good being fully integrated into the Sony ecosystem when PS+ time rolls around each month!
 
Well, i´m very happy because i didn´t play Tomb Raider neither TLOU on the PS3 and will play both on PS4. Just bought Tomb Raider today for $30. :SMUG:
 
I'm looking forward to mercenary kings. It's a cross between metal slug and monster hunter. 4 player split screen or online and tons to do and customise. Everything I love. The ign video that is the first result on YouTube if you type the ame's name in is quite good at showing it off and explaining how it plays.

The rest... Not really fussed
 
TBH can the Last of Us look any better on PS4, apart from no AA on the PS3 version and some really god awful low res textures here and there, I really don't think that much else can really be done.
 
Never played TLOU so very excited at the possibility of it coming to the PS4.

Best game I've ever played. Was thinking of playing it again on the hardest difficulty on the PS3 but am going to postpone that so I can play it again on the PS4.

I'm still excited by this news even when I've completed it allready. :)
