When i was more ridged i started by trying to stretch my little finger but then found it easier to move my hand down and stretch my index finger instead. And when i know there will be a lot of red notes then ill move my whole hand across the neck.

Once you know a song, if theres lots of green/red, then you can do a pinky stretch. If the notes are up with the orange, then slide your hand up to those.

I sometimes will play a fair bit on the solo buttons too - you need to practice jumping from them back up to the regular notes if you use them to solo alot anyway!

I can't use the solo frets - even at the end of a song with the big solo... if i use them and then the final few notes pop up I end up cocking up every time.

The trick to playing the solo frets at the end of the song is to use your right hand, keep your left hand on the main frets, works perfectly for me :)

Layla too... list is endless. I hope that one day, they do get to an iTunes like state as they are hoping and they add more songs per week. With the amount of $m they are getting from DLC, you'd hope they'd ramp it up.

But I guess if they flood it, less would download :( Tricky one...

Dunno what time I'll be getting on - jumping off PC now to watch The Wire with the missus and get some grub, so thats at least an hour and a bit. I wanna jam though guys... "I'LL BE BAAAAAACK" with my vocal talents asap!

7) Percussion parts for non-vocals - Check

All of that adds up to = will probably never see :(

Really makes my head hurt though that we have some awesome tracks out there, yet RB aren't snapping them up and as im reading now that van halen will be a GH exclusive come GH4 just like aerosmith will be... how the hell and why the hell are RB allowing this to happen.

Especially with the license hungry EA behind them!

You'd think EA would be out there now grabbing every single rock track known to man.

Instead we get 'jimmy and the nobodies performing slit your wrists', then the week after we get 'manic-depressive losers with naked mother' while GH get a metallica themed GH and a aerosmith one?

Tried lead guitar on hard last night... :-ll

It was going pretty well, I did the All-American Rejects - Dirty Little Secret, on hard, 3 times, and I got 88%, 90% and 92%. So I was clearly getting better! Really enjoying it too, it really does feel good playing a song on hard, more notes, more frets etc. And I should have left it there...

We put it on random and next song that came up was Fall Out Boy - This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race. Fuck me hard :-ll I think we lasted about 2 minutes and then got kicked off. Ridiculous, how anyone can hit all the notes is beyond me! It's mental.

I then went back to medium for another 4 songs and got above 95% on each. I think I will be flicking between medium and hard to keep trying to adapt to hard and eventually move over to hard.

I was good at Normal on GH but didnt play it enough to even try hard
