Real Madrid Thread

I don't even think the physicality would trouble Messi to be honest.

He got twatted around the pitch by Real last season in the two El Classicos (especially at the Camp Nou) and yet he still tore them a new arsehole.

He's a stocky little player and even if he wasn't good at dribbling, he'd still be hard to knock off the ball.

I do like that pretty much every United fan I know of wants him to do well still, and continue to be the world's best player.

Just not against us if you have to Ronnie, cheers...

Ay he deserves it(Check out the United Thread),I think what makes Ronaldo special to us United faithful is how we watched him grow, Messi to be fair hasn't really changed much from his first season for Barca while we all slowly but surely witnessed Ronaldo evolving into what he is today.

I hope Ronaldo does well but I do dislike Real Madrid to be fair. ;))

Ballon d'or will be his next year if he keeps this up. Waiting to see what he'll do in the game against Milan.

WOW. What a goal. Looks a bit similar to the goal he scored against Fulham a few years back.

Was that the one where he won the game for us and then ran towards Heinze to celebrate? Its one of those you dont forget. ;)
I think I remember him later saying that Heinze told him he'd score that day which is why he went to hug him after the goal.

Heinze? maybe Pipita Higuain ;))

Messi hasnt even been awarded the Player of the Year award yet and already he wants it back.

I'll be gutted if he beats his 42 goal haul :(( I want him to do well but not as well (or surpass) his United best

I dunno. I felt the way you do at first but now I just hope he gets better and better.
I think partly because once he conquers Spain, I think he'll come back home.

My dream is to have tea w/ Jessica Alba once I`m done I w`d be back to my wife  If dreams can be a reality it`s not a dream anymore grass root is a memory more dear

To be fair Rune, Ronaldo is at home. Its his dream to play for Real and always has been.
But he kinda gave the impression that Madrid was something he felt he had to do cuz it was his "destiny" to succeed at such a historical club. Which is why he moved regardless of how far ahead Barca had gone and after the manner in which Real lost to them and Liverpool. I'm sure Ronaldo would have joined them even if they had finished 10th last season.
Basically, he didnt see it as a good career move, but more of a sentimental move. So lets assume he achieves everything he wishes to achieve there, why would he turn down the chance to come back to us in the future, especially if Sir Alex is still around?

Because becoming a Real Madrid Legend appeals to him more than being a United one.

And just for hypothetical sake he did want to comeback I doubt we'd buy him. We don't go backwards and thats what it would be to sign Ronaldo along with a 60+M price tag which were not going to be willing to spend.

I think the chances of us buying him back largely depend on his age when he becomes available.

He will move to Milan when he is 29-30 :D All megastars do. Just examples: Beckham, Seedorf, Rivaldo, Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Vieri, Redondo,...

Sevilla was just too hot to handle and Madrid`s defense didn`t change from last season . Marcelo was in Nava`s back pocket way to often. Some might say No Ronaldo No pts... :CONFUSE:

Sevilla deserved the win plus they had outlets on both wings while Real played down the middle. Selling Robben was silly.
