Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread
Drekkard was commenting on the video, but I was trying to give an example of how much time was left for the development and implementation of the animation.
Even if you took it as red that the debug video (which it clearly is as nobody is playing it) has 50% animation code and 70% gameplay code then the final 50% animation will make a massive difference to fluidity.
I am just find it a bit laughable that peeps can state exactly what the gameplay is going to be from an out of focus, shaky cam, without proof that it aint anything but debug code.
Give the game a chance until Gamescom and then make your mind up.
So that isn't from the Seabass movie released a couple of days ago? Because that's what I assumed and I can't see how the playtest has anything to do with it, that vid was most likely almost from the development phase i.e. not the same as the playtest (meaning it hasn't got locked down weeks before to make it nice and shiny, I mean, why would they do that and leave debug code and place it as if he is working on it?).
Also, isn't animation something that should be a cornerstone in the game? It isn't in the current PES engine and that is the cause to all the robotic and rigid moments in the game as the animations (which is the players movement) has to be adjusted instead of letting everything else depend on the animations.
