But Adam says PES 2009 is better than FIFA 09, so why do PES 2010 only have FIFA in its sights?
All the talk about graphics worries me to be honest, if the game is still somewhat similar to 2009 than I couldn't care less about graphics.

I think fozan is on about the adjustable camera angles, I think it was dynamic?. Where you could manually position it on an angle between 1 and 9. Personally, wide cam is the best and I still prefer it to the tele cam on FIFA.

Hmmm not a great deal of detail to be gleamed, the R2 thing is great and no Micky Mouse gloves is a must, given PES are turning into graphic whores...

The video clearly show that running animation and passes are still embarassing. No way i am playing that game if they don't fix those two issues.

Well, I must say I've always been slightly optimistic about the releases of the new PES games (except for PES2009 which I wasn't expecting that much, after the let down PES2008 has been)..
Even this time I'm confident but for the first time I'm also a little bit concerned.. As far as I can understand from reading here and there, it seems like the game is undergoing a major "direction-change" and that's what scares me most..
Ok, it's a good thing that players and teams resemble the "real ones" in the style of play but I'd like to have full control of my team. It's supposed to be done via the sliders, but (forgive me) I'd better not trust them until I've tried them..
Also the "cards" system sounds like a good addition but it still sounds odd somehow.. Every player is supposed to have all the behaviour cards (to be turned on and off at a gamer's will) or at least the ones linked with his role/roles (df or mf or fw basically) and only some of the skill cards I guess, otherwise it wouldn't have sense..
I'll explain better: if I expected a player of mine running from the flank to the centre, he'd need an "incisive run" card if I don't go wrong..
But I should be able to do it with *every* player.. Am I wrong? It's a treademark move of Messi, but every player if told so should be able to make it..
In PES6 it was easy (with the bias arrows) but now I can't see any way to make it if not with a behaviour card.. So every player is supposed to have all the behaviour cards, or am I understanding wrong?
PS: Nice avatar you had.. Was it from that "Dodgeball" movie with ben Stiller? Awesome movie

To be fair to Adam he did say that Fifa 09 was the better game.
The one thing that should be remembered before we lay into PES2010's animations is that only 25% of the new animations had been put into the early build that PSM3, WENB, etc, played.
Overall I'm very happy with what I've read and now it's only a couple of weeks to wait before they play a newer build.
