Exactly. But I doubt Adam is critical. He is more permissive with Konami's faults. I don't blame him for being a fan... I completely understand him. He knows the game should be much better, but he also enjoy the half decent effort of last year, just like me. Not a lot, but I enjoy it...

Every team in PES will have a unique tactic.

Nothing new, its been in previous games but its very, very important.

Awesome that means using British Pound Sterling instead of arcadey pts, they should leave the pts to the PES Shop, saying that how come that dissapeared in the next gen versions, that and community mode :(

So hopefully they will have atleast a 20 team div 1 and 2, even better if div 2 has 24 or something and even that I would even like 20 in div 1, 2 and add a 3rd with 20 but thats if it can cope, as could even be good to have each 4 leagues have two divisions of 20 or something, so can see promotion and relegation in the other leagues :)

Yeah I aint sayin anything till I hear it from konami.

btw has anyone heard anything related to the BAL? I love this mode but it's got a few glaring faults in respect of the AI

Thanks to jjoseca and ThomasGOAL for the news.

The playtests of PES 2010 wasn’t exclusive just to the sites based in the UK, as our Spanish counterparts were busy getting hands on with the game as well.

RegionPS3 have reported back from their time with the game, giving nothing but extremely positive feedback. Read the (rough) translation after the jump!


Event presentation PES 2010

Hot day in the capital of Spain which has been chosen by the Konami Spain, for the presentation of the next Pro Evolution Soccer.

In a central Madrid hotel we expected the Konami team, no big an event, or large effects, personal attention, where we have been able to speak with you to your Borja Altolaguirre, taking all our doubts and concerns.

In the beginning we have numbered the new qualities of the game, in my humble opinion are not limited to later watch a video of last time, we also have the form that will be used to promote the game in Spain, including the well-known for casting out with Messi and Torres, to be held on 17 and July 18 in Madrid and Barcelona.

And finally, we could test the game, my feelings and I’m sorry but I can not count on much more, until July 15. Have been very good since I have actually seen an evolution from the 2010 and 2009, both graphically and gameplay.

This is so typical British, expecting that whole Europe is waiting for the British Pound Sterling in stead of the Euro, which is used in almost all other European countries :D
Those British seem to think they rule the world :SMUG:

Ahhh, for a tiny spec of a country we once did, now look at us...:ROLL:

I hope it's a mix TBH, but at the very least we will have Euro...

I'm sure there will be a few different currencies to choose from like in Fifa. In my latest manager mode at AZ Alkmaar I used Euros rather than Pounds for authenticity.

Well after Wednesday's events,I really hope Konami licenses the USA. :))

They're the NT I (obviously) want to see in PES. What makes it so hard for Konami to get NT licenses anyway?

Only meant it as in I myself can use Pounds instead of points, likewise you would say you can use Euros instead of points as thats what you use or what not... I just hope that a bit more of ML has been improved, as be annoying if all this is good then its the same 16 in division 1 and just 8 in division 2 :S

Suspicious when this thread is arguing about covers and not gameplay. I really thought this year Konami could try something different in marketing terms, but I see it's all the same. We'll wait for gameplay videos, then, but I think konami is loosing again by not telling clearly what are they doing to the game. Talking about some screenshots and covers does not give any kind of interest about the game if you disliked the previous efforts (and I disliked them a lot).

Drekkard, it is still very early days.
Last year at this time we got no info whatsoever.
Just wait until mid-july, when big info is expected.
After that, there is much more clearity and then you still have time to critisize the game ;)

Surely talking about the game cover and screenshots means there is interest though?

Why not speak about what we have seen rather than what we have not?
