Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

On the game in motion thingy, I know that is what we all want to see, but since when did PES look good in motion in videos before release? I remember every year ever since PES 3, the same happens, we wait for the game in motion then get very disappointed. Then after playing the game for a few days, we're totally addicted and think its the best thing ever to football mimicry.

That's not what I experienced with PES 2008 and PES 2009... :CONFUSE:

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Suff and Adam have play-tested PES 2010 and apparently BOTH are happy. That should be a good sign at least. Maybe we know PES is going back on the right path?

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Sounds good Lami and I sincerely hope they are right this year. Trouble is they were happy with 2008 and 2009 as well.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Well if Suff really is happy and not just pulling an Adam here, then it must have changed a lot. Sounds good, still doubt I could enjoy it if there are no manual controls, I just can't go back playing assisted I think. But if it is really good except that then I could see myself going back to PES again form time to time (still think I will prefer FIFA 10, on 360, but you never know).

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

OH YES! Finally, a playable PES! They've definitely listened to us this time! Anybody else share my happiness?

Yes, definitely a good sign if Suff REALLY enjoyed it. No offense to Adam, not at all, I just dont share his feelings/thoughts about 2008 and 2009 at all. I guess he is more fanatic than me. 2008 was crap and 2009 is just decent... hey Lami do you know if they are going to post their thoughts soon?

Don't think they can anytime soon. There's an embargo until PSM3 lets it all out 9th July because they have the exclusive. Lets hope something gets leaked though ;)

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Funny: At the WENB-forum Adam said that both he and suff are 'happy' and on twitter Adam said he is 'very happy'.
So, maybe Adam is very happy and Suffwan is only happy.

My "translation" of this: There will be some big improvements, but not big enough to talk about a revamp of the game.
That would cover the enthousiastic reaction of Adam and the more neutral reaction of Suffwan.

Nicked off that other place...

http://konami.halifax.it/news_dettaglio.htm?C=2744

Part Translation...

Master league now incorporates both Champion's League and Europa League, giving to the players the opportunity to have a complete season. Winning Master League will give the opportunity to participate in these competitions. The participation to the European competitions will also lure the strongest player to join your team, and transfer contracts and dealings will be now more complete with the management operations that will be in real currency...

I agree, but "at least" a happy reaction from Suff means something good. He demands more from the game... I guess with the wave of pessimistic around the Internet, these are good news, not great news.

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Re: PES2010 News & Rumours thread

Han, since you are analyzing everything, Adam's last post said:

For Suff I think it was the fact its the first time he's enjoyed PES since PES6, so he was very happy with the session.

;)

I think that means that Adam was less disappointed with PES 2008 and 2009 than Suff.
But if Adam is indeed hyper critical this year, like he says, then that is a good thing.
That means we will get a better picture about PES than last years.
Those last years Adam saw it too much as a fan. That can be a disadvantage when people count on your judgements.
