Just checked ML, and my oh my they've messed up the player values

Most expensive player in the game? Rio Ferdinand. Just under €8mil

Ronaldo little bit less, and Messi...just under €7mil

Wouldn't be so bad if everything else was in ratio to it, but as Milan I started off with €176mil

I dont think u will need to worry about that mate. I remember reading something similar on the fifa forums that they had it like this also. This is something like the players markey value and there is no way you will be able to purchase them for that.

That price has something to do with their wages or something along those lines.

I'm 100% sure that means the wages, I've read it in PESfan's ml story;)

I’m pleased to report the amount you have to pay for a player isn’t as bizarre as we first though. Even though his market value is about 1.2m, my scout returned with a deal that would cost me 9.3m to secure Drenthe’s services, with 1.6m wages every year (although seeing as I bought him in January I had to pay him half his wages there and then). Why it works this way I don’t yet know, but it was comforting to know Konami do have some sense of scale when it comes to player values.

Hopefully they will add a couple more, plus Rasunda, Torino and Allianz.

By the way, where did that info come from?

It´s hilarious the ps2 version has a lot of great stadia and a big variety and next gen has crap (22 only) pfff pathetic KONAMI.

Let's hope, but this is Konami so I'm not holding my breath.

As much as I like PES2010 so far, I'm really baffled as to what the supposed 200 extra staff at PES Productions have actually been doing? The stadiums situation is a good example of a real lack of progress that is evident throughout PES2010. Yes, the graphics are wonderful, but otherwise I don't see the results of the extra manpower and longer development time that has been invested in PES2010.

Man, most the people in this vids are not playing PES2010 like it's meant to be played, they are all forcing run and gun football. Not what it's coded for, you get sluggish ugly games if u force every play. Wheres the one-twos? Triangles? Starting a move involving more than two players?

It hurts me to watch this, because it's easy to defend against and I'd pummel these guys 9 games out of 10 I have a feeling.

Take your finger off the sprint button, control the ball, pass backwards if you have to, they're killing the game like this.

God these guys suck so much ass. It's just a cutback fest for these morons. I counted 0 build-up plays in that video. Good thing KONAMI finally figured out how to stop 90% of PES players from scoring.

Agreed fully! It's ridiculous that they play this way. I love midfield domination and PES2009 pissed all over this concept. It seems PES2010 will force the players to adopt a proper football approach.

I guess this video sums up the MIND BLOWING graphics of PES2010, as well as the HORRIBLE animations engine, with sliding feet, twisting legs, stuttering movement, and countless interruptions....

Excellent Spooky, thanks for taking the time to put that together, I really enjoyed that video, my favourite yet by a long way. :SAL:

The cheeky chip was nice, nice feel of pace to it. I still prefer the more floaty dinks with a bit more height. I have scored a couple of those and they look brilliant. But it was nice to see a more clipped dink, giving it the extra bit of pace and quicker dip, but less height. Never seen one of those yet.

Some of the long distance screamers are the best I've seen. They are alot harder to pull off and I have missed alot of those and not really scored anything like those, except my Gerrard free-kick. They are alot harder to score than PES 2009 forsure.

But the main ones I was very happy to see was the half volley type goals where they took it first time as the ball was either rising, or dropping. I still havent managed to pull one of those off like that and it was worrying me. I had response issues.

But to be fair, I havent had one to try since I sussed out this new system Konami have implemented, and with everything else I have very little response issues at all now. It's the opposite to PES 2009 and most if not all other PES games. It's more like how Fifa have it, and that to me is a good thing, its about getting used to it. PES shooting is obviously different as is the physics and weight of the ball, but still the need to get it under control more first, at times is similar to Fifa.

Fifa have got that aspect right and I didnt see it, especially from a simulation angle. Which I hold my hand up to. I think it probably was mainly because of my other niggles with the shooting I have. Although its alot better now in FIFA 10 in my opinion, huge improvement. I dont think they have too much further to go in my eyes, before it feels like I need it to feel.

P.S. Your BAL player from 2009 was a spooky looking fella. A great player I would presume, but a spooky chap all the same. :LOL:

The AI isnt poor Zee, definatley not, its far tighter. And that doesnt look like beginner. I doubt Spooky would play that level.

The shooting from that distance is hard, much harder than PES 2009. I havent scored one mate.

Did you read my latest opinion in the now closed thread Zee ? If not, have a look, I feel so much more positive now I've grasped the concept.

KONAMI should'nt relase a game like this
i think the last relase will be far diffirent.

many persons dont like this demo especially response times,and that will maybe make them hesitate about taking the final game.

so ,KONAMI,why not relase a new demo with final code just some days before relase?

This game needs a new engine, definitely..
And a new production staff..

I haven't played next gen fifa yet, but what I have seen so far is miles beyond next gen pes...

But that vid shows that the demo we have is a crap build. And its a relief for me, as its the PS3 version, which I was really worried about. Obviously we can't really tell about the response issue, but the jerky animation has gone, and the pace is slower, so I am well pleased and really confident now.

Check this vid at 1:04 for one of the worst bugs with the AI for me - Look at how the defender slides in the direction of the ball and ends up behind the attacker to let him score.

They introduced it in PES 2008 and it proper pissed me off the first time I saw it, it's a horrible flaw that leaks so many soft goals. WE10 required a lot of manual input making defending an art form, everything had to be timed perfectly and it also required the proper use of super cancel. Yet again Konami have decided to decimate something that was actually working, you've now got defenders making suicidal runs or just standing about for no particular reason.

This is extremely disheartening. The game has taken more control away from the user whilst adding (and not rectifying) some glaringly obvious bugs.

did you realize, that we are praising / bashing a game / company, that was unable to recreate it's amazingly addictive gameplay in HD for the 3rd consecutive year..

If only Pes 2010 would be PES 5 / 6 in HD with some tweaks..

But this year they have listened to the fans, so we haverealistic arm hair...

One of the most ever wanted feature in any sports game...
