I've played the other game demo for the past 2 days, and I couldn't enjoy it the way I was when I play PES series. The other game is just lack of responsiveness and individuality. Maybe it is just me, but I think and hope that PES2010 will be better than PES5/6. I am cancelling my preorder for the other game now.

Pes2009 is a disgrace. I can say it after playing PS2's PES6, let alone 360's FIFA10 demo.

I played that disgrace on my PS3 till 1am this morning. It would've been longer if I didn't have to be up early this morning.
I'm still playing my league with Arsenal. Wengers' boys are in pole position and 2 points ahead of Man U and Chelski with less than half the season left.
The CPU scored a 40m shot against me lastnight which was just awesome. I think it was Tristan, I was backing up with Sagna to allow Silvestre to pull back into position. Tristan slowed down and "boom" a well placed shot that caught Fabianski off-gaurd all he could do was jump and flap at it.

btw someone play league with a team other than fcbarca, chelsea, mardrid etc and tell me it's not just awesome.

I believe i said exactly the same thing after going thru the hassle to get a ps3 UK account so that i could play the other game.

I mean for all the improvements,animations, licensing and commentary the other game possesses it just doesn't bring out the wow factor that make you jump outta your seat.

The hype about the this years version is just as bad as the same way people slam pes2009.

I just can't go back to pes older editions fellaz.. I play pes2009 with its faults but just don't play online except i find friends who don't wanna exploit the rounding the goalie bug or using messi to run circles.

Konami roll out PES2010 i can't wait, the revamped ML has everything that i have always been hoping for and if the stories about players been able to play up to 7-8 games before they tire out sounds fascinating. At least i won't have to try to get every players condition to 7 before starting ML.

I believe i said the same thing before my earlier post got deleted by who i don't know becuz i talked about the other game's demo.

The game just doesn't give me that satisfaction at all ever since i found Konami's version of football.

I think pes2009 gets unfairly criticized becuz online mode sucked. I don't even play online becuz i get very angry at the game when i do but ML is were the fun is. I have played ML with Espanyol in La Liga and Auxerre in Ligue 1 and Lazio in Serie A. I didn't get to win the championship until the 2nd-3rd season.

The satisfaction you is just unbelievable now imagine the managerial part been added to PES2010. Scouts, Trainer, Doctor, Sponsorship, Player moans, real currency,etc.

Now if they fix the outta position defenders, rounding the goalie bug, better defending boy.

I am sorry i don't care what people say about running animations, nets and animations in total.

WE WILL HAVE A SOLID GAME HERE. I JUST CAN'T WAIT.

The least of PES 09s problems are online, that game is brimming with flaws and is simply not fit to represent the sport we love, if you liked PES 09, then you are easily pleased my friend.

I couldn't care less about critics or peoples opinions of ANY game.... If I like it, I will spend my hard earned money on it.

If I don't like a game, I'll decide... Nobody will sway my mind... basically it's all about preference...

Generalising games into catergories of good or bad games is pointless to the individual who plays it.

I didn't like GTA4 but that doesn't make it bad and I accept that thousands love it and claim it to be the best game they've ever played and that's fine by me.

I like PES 09, I didn't really like FIFA 09...
Who cares what I think?

I'm not having that like. And I'm certainly not easily pleased. Just ask the wife. :LOL:

Look deeper people, its all there. Or at least it is for people who can SEE past the niggles and flaws. That all PES games had by the way.

ALL games have flaws not just PES series... Really aggravates me to read so much critic against PES of any version. You'd think PES was the only game that wasn't perfect.

I've been playing the new Batman Arkham Asylum and as fantastic as it is, it's not without flaws but I really couldn't care to point them out, I just enjoy all the many positives in it.... Just like PES....

i'm a pro evo nut, but for me fifa 10 has the wow factor

i scored a goal with iniesta that made me jump out of my seat...it wasn't a long range shot or anything like that...just came out of nowhere being surrounded by the opposition and bending a shot from the just inside the D off the post along the floor...felt great

i'm so hoping pes2010 is the game we all want it to be...deep down were all pro evo fans, it's still our game...konami have taken the fans for granted...lets hope they make up for it with a cracking pes2010 : )

I assume your playing on Top Player Zee ?

Athletico Madrid are my boys, they play some of the best football out of any team for me, solid everywhere. And with Perea at the back with 97 for speed he can keep the likes of Messi in his pocket when he's on his game.

100% after what brought most of us to this site was PES and I sincerely hope that PES2010 will be on another level compared to PES2009 (I thought it was a waste of a game, sorry if it seems harsh) and from all the different reviews(yes even Adam's haha) I feel positive about the game because you feel it just can't get worse.
Can't wait to try the revamped gameplay and ML and I can't help that Konami's tactic of waiting a long time before releasing a demo or the game is crazy with all the FIFA10 demos out there, it's about to make people only buy that game.

I liked PES2009, it took time and u needed to get over some of the huge flaws, but it played a much nicer and more fun game of footie. IMO.

That's what I fear will happen, even though I do think it's an impressive demo.

Edit: Impressive more in the visual rather than gameplay sense, imo.

Please guys, when mentioning PES, Thou Shall Not include PES 2008. It shouldn't even be considered a game :LOL:

But 2009, I agree it wasn't what I was hoping for, but it is still a good game, a playable one.

I have barely played PES 2009 before the Fifa 10 demo. Now, I'm really appreciating it and enjoying it. I play it like real football and no exploiting flaws. Every PES had flaws and I never used exploits.

PES feels very rewarding. Fifa on the other hand, even if it did give me that sensation to some extent, has never reached that "pes feeling" level, imo.

Ok I gtg the manager has threw me in the game and we're 0-1 down. I have to impress ;)

everyone has their opinion about the game..if they like pes 09 more than fifa 09 or 10 demo there's nothing you or anyone can do to change what they think about the game..

Hi there my homies, just thought i would say that i sampled the other game demo late on thursday night.Initially like dan mentioned i also got the wow factor (looking back its most probably the 360 control that really impressed me)but i did think it was good.
Last night(fri)gave it another go and it didnt grab my attention the same way.Why was this? Maybe because the first night i played on pc so i made allowances for graphics but it now appears i may have been wearing rosey glasses making too many allowances.TBH it feels like i had a one night stand with jodie marsh(all tits & lipstick),and the next day you see her in the cold light of day and think WTF was i doing.:COAT: Now where can i find that japanese supermodel? :))

I think PES needs a revamp but I don't see it coming :((. Every year for the past 3 the other game has improved massively and its getting to a point now where I feel EVERY aspect of it is at least on par if not better than PES, I don't see what PES offers any more apart from the pick up and play.

Hopefully this year it can give us a solid title compared to the last 2 which would be a start.
