In the end, its all about taste. You can be your own judge after playing the demo and see which suits your taste.

Just a little something I'd like to say, I honestly don't see the need to bash/hate a game or swear and curse at it because it didn't suit some people's taste. That won't lead you anywhere. I understand frustration of course, but I prefer voicing myself in a manner that may lead to something constructive, hoping my voice reach out to the people in charge. If we want a better game, we should try our best to make sure we are heard in the right way.

This year is a start, Konami have listened and it is very evident in their 2010 release. So lets all keep doing it the right way and hopefully next year we have a better game. That will only benefit us all.

That's why we have those other sights for the softly softly approach, I don't mind people knocking the thing as long as they don't insult people or just sledge for sledging sake and without reason.

I have actually asked the question in the "Ask Seabass questions" thread on WENB and to my surprise it was picked and his answer was:

Yes your right especially since we have gone into the next-gen console market. We have loads of things we want to do and ideally bringing out a game every 2 years is something that would help us, however we believe that 1 game per year is the best option as thats something the fans want to see and with the innovation that we have achieved just with PES 2010 alone, i cant see us as a team not making a game every year.

Boy, there is so much to go through here, those pics look good, some nice little details (the kaka stuff) gives me faith that the mo capping will make a big impact on the graphics front, this still seems to be the big bug bear for most...

I really want to know in relation to league tables; can anyone confirm if the league table format has or will be corrected in PES'10? (ie. Has it been changed to a realistic and not some crazy made up table?) I couldn't find any mentioning of this in the ML play-test.

Are Konami ever going to invest in a new engine. Surely there is only so much u can do with the current one.

Hell, if Konami can include individual animations into their game it would be all kinds of awesome. I was watching a video of Fifa10 this morning it looks smooth like butter, but the animations seem a bit samey. Please don't let this thread spiral out of control now, this is not an attack on FIFA I'm just making a little point.

Riot is definitely move positive about the game than he was last year. I have the feeling he and suff will play it longer than a couple of weeks this time.

Even if the game isn't what I wanted it to be, hopefully the tactics system and new master league will keep me occupied for a bit

It's still made up mate, as far as I can tell 2 Divisions possibly 20 in each, It's my only real gripe so far with 2010...

KONAMI really need to invest in a new game engine. Adding new next gen stuff to the last gen game engine will only harm it rather than do it any good.

Look at their pathetic attempt at a 360 degrees dribbling. I hear it feels like 16 degrees.

For me PES2008 should of been the first with a new engine and then they could of moved forward from there.

Is it because he's American that's he's supposed not to have a clue about football ?
I can assure you that gomito is one of the people who knows waht he's talking about when he talks football...

Why don't we just talk about PES (and FIFA) and try not to judge each other ? We're all people with the same passion(s) football and/or gaming. Lets just keep it friendly...

Wow - haven't been on this forum for ages but, predictably, it hasn't changed. Same old 'we need a new engine', '360 dribbling' prattling by people who don't know what either of those things are.

How about we wait and see... Just saw a Fifa 10 video and frankly that looks like the same loose gameplay with poor shooting and I can't see any evidence of this so-called 360 dribbling there either... not that I care because I think the whole thing is a red herring anyway.

I've never known so many people crave something so much that they've never actually seen! I mean never mind the fact that the teams are called Man Red and West London White - it's all about 360 dribbling! The game will be unplayable without 360 dribbling, just like the first 6 PESs were! Man they were seriously bad - I had to stop playing them because there was no 360 dribbling! I can't live without it! [For the simpletons on this forum that was actually sarcasm]

Get a grip guys - since when has PES looked good from a distance? Everyone knows it's about how it plays and if it plays as well as PES 6 (which didn't have 360 dribbling or a new engine) then I'll be happy.

My view: game looks promising, better than Fifa by a mile IMO and can't wait to try the demo. Only then will I start slating or admiring it.

Cheers, what I meant is the actual structure of all tables in PES; from UCL to ML.

eg. Regular real life table displays in the following columns:
Games Played,Wins,Draws,Losses,Goal Difference,Points Total

PES eg. In PES a Totally unheard of system
Points, Wins, Draws, Losses, Goals Scored, Goals Conceded, Goal Difference

Hope you understand what I'm saying, this is just unacceptable and leaves quite upset. Some descreptencies the PES team make are just unfair, I mean just watch one game of football chaps! Honestly! :SICK:

So because a game in the past never had it Konami shouldnt be looking to improve future games and add new things? Surely that argument could be made with any game.
Technology has changed and improved and that means the software should follow the same pattern. There would of been things Konami would of wanted to do back in the PES6 days which wouldnt of been possible. You would of hoped with next gen they could implement those ideas they couldnt before. If you just want a re-hash of PES6 then good luck to you.

Nice cover, looks like a nice one to remove a disc from then never look at again. BTW why do their bodies seem to to do thing but their faces another, it looks kind of rehearsed.

If my memory serves correct he said WENB were in the dog box because of Suffs affiliation with FIFA which is why the got the 72,654% build as opposed to Pesfans 83,645% build which both lagged behind the aforementioned tricksticks 92,654% build.

Not all Gerd. I dont really care where he's from, and trust me this isnt about which is the better game. It's about the footballing physics. His ignornance holds no boundries. Watching football certainly doesnt make you an expert on the subject. What I wrote is correct. If he doesnt understand where I'm coming from then I cant teach him.

I really dont know what else to say. I've played the real game for 25 years. I get paid to play football. I know what I'm talking about. I dont know about pretty much else, but I do know my football. Thats it.

He has had a go a few times. I would love to know what makes him an expert to judge me in the manner of which he does. If he know's the game like you say he does, then let him PM me about what he believes is inaccurate with what I wrote. Lets talk off this thread about physics, I would love to know his views, I really would.

Lets move on and get back OT.

If you can't see any evidence of this "so-called" 360-dribbling in FIFA10's videos, then that tells me you have no idea what 360 degree dribbling is. Sorry if I was too harsh.

There's no bigger turn off than each year's "you know who"'s obsession and trickling of news concerning the cover stars. TBH I don't give a crap about who'll be on the game's cover. As a matter of fact, if putting two GI Joe toys on the front would save more money for game development, or a new camera angle, I'd always go for that option.

I can't believe someone out there thinks that this year's cover stars is a megaton announcement or HUGE news worth leaking bit by bit through clues in podcasts.
