OK I am officially BLOWN AWAY by the fluid animations and the brilliant lighting.... even though the pace could be slower, and the running animations (my only gripe) seem to be a bit too "repetitive".
But WOW. Verdict: Revolution.
EDIT: Some small niggles are still bothering me, like the camera angle (no fucking panning?) static camera, and the same old "flags" scoreboard. Is it that hard to replicate a realistic TV scoreboard? You have the UEFA license, guys.
EDIT 2: Maybe I was very impressed not blown away (those damn running animations). But yeah there's a HUGE difference when comparing it to the 55% build seen in the tactics video.

Lighting is great, animation improved but not spectacular (not anywhere near fifa's).

Nice video....first attack...2 passes on the wing and cutback....this game has alwasy been a cutback mess but ffs people it is also due to the way people play...just put a cross in when u are on the wings...

Looks a lot better graphically BUT animations do not seem hugely different to PES 2009 and game pace is still is pretty fast.

I don't think the cpu is a noob mate. In one of the videos, a guy is playing against the computer and the computer is awful.
Regarding the gameplay, I share the guys disappointment in animations. Although it improved but it seems to be missing a lot. The passing animations are not impressing, to say the least, but we need a better quality video so we can be clear on that.

It's not mind-blowing, but put these videos next to some PES2009 gameplay and I think the difference is clear to see.

I fear the worst.
Looks like ill be doing the same thing as last year. Test the demo and NOT buy the game.

yeah i have to agree...looks fairly average
the running and passing animations especially (very similar), as well as transitions between animations not good.

Point being....from what it seems there is nothing really new in it. So question is: is this gonna be better than pes5/6??? I doubt...animations still poor, cutback still there, sliding tackles way too easy (2v2 is usually a sliding tackle context..), and more than that, the general feeling of 1 dimensional pace is still there. Dunno let's watch some more vids, but so far i'll keep my pes6 nicely patched.

Looks a lot like FIFA 08. Interesting to see what all the FIFA haters will say now when it clearly is a lot like the early new FIFA versions. Looks a little sluggish just like 08.
I'm happy though, if they're doing it more like FIFA then they're going in the right direction.

Awesome game (PES 10), I'm gonna buy it, very probably.

And man, stop with your comments "PES 10 is better than 5/6".I will play it even if the gameplay is not like PES 5/6, cause the graphics are better, the commentary is better, the interface is better, it has more licensed teams etc.
PES 5/6 is ok but it's limited, I consider PES 10 is going to be very good.
