Also forgive me if someone as mentioned this but just found out, now when you play players out of position their overall ratings auto drop.Sounds all good to me.

The whole Anti Xbox 360 agenda got Konami and Seabass into this whole mess in the first place.

Ignoring the Xbox 360 like they did whilst EA Sports created the 06 and 07 titles even tho they were shit was a huge mistake as these titles were necessary to create the much improved 08, 09 etc.

Meanwhile Konami are still struggling with their games simply due to their nationalistic pride (stubbornness).

Its nothing new tho Look at all the stuff they give away to their Japanese fans who buy the games and compare how every Winning eleven Title is always better than the Western ones ans they always got a refined title later on.

It's been public for a few years, now, that Seabass' team wasn't very big when the 360 hit the shelves. Plus, it was pretty much irrelevant, marketwise, in Japan, the land of the company that funds the game, Konami. It's not a matter of being nationalistic or not.

Another preview of the game, but it´s in German.

One thing there on is that the keepers went better in 1 vs 1, but even worldclass keepers are still bad with midrange shoots ...
Another change is that you can only put two additional players in the freekick wall, not more.
Also the training mode like i know from the PS2 times are gone. For example, the free kick mode to hit different targets etc.
But the rest seems quite ok to me ;)

Thanks for the preview, Buzzyhead.

Everything I'm reading sounds really positive.

All I need to know is:

German teams - We know the Champions League qualifiers are in and there is no official Bundesliga, but is there an unlicensed version or at least 18 empty slots?

Stadia - 23 is quite poor. This is only half what was in PES5. I'm hoping for at least 30.

As far as I know no german teams at this stage but in a german review they say that Konami is still in negotiations about that. I think if we are lucky we will get a german league like the english one with maybe the international playing teams fully licensed. That would be really great. A full license is not to expect as EA owns it.

Yes that's true. I think konami are negociating with some clubs.

But their are some points that let us believe that we can get at least some german teams in the game :

- the UEFA CL license : german clubs are more likely to give a license to konami as it's the official CL and EL videogame.

- the financial problems of some bundesliga clubs : I read that they didn't earn enough money from TV rights and were looking for more sources of money, so sell a license is a way to get more cash.

- the DFB license : the DFB is THE federation of football in Germany; everything that concerns the league is managed by the DFL and we know that the DFL avoided konami from including a "german league" in their game; but as they got the DFB license, maybe they have become more conciliatory.

So, I think we'll have at least 2 teams, but don't hope for a full german league fake or real, we might be disappointed.

Atleast they managed to get the German national team's license. That should be a good sign for things hopefully.

the WENB guys are going on about how amazing the game is again, just like pes 2008 and 2009 right? dear me when they ever gonna realise that no one believes a word they say anymore, two clowns is what they are

Also did anyone from evo-web playtest the game, why not as we're one of the oldest Fan saites for pro evo :( and EA gave evo-web playtests for FIFA10.


@Ronaldhino any Snow in the game?

I can understand why some of you won't be optimistic but what I don't get is this negativity.Wait for videos and demos before writting off games people no matter how much you were lied before.

i love the part about not being able to pull off the usual 4 passes before the usual cutback that ends up in the usual spot...

greats stuff, we need to go back to pes5 style of play

I am pretty sure Konami find this site too negative ( critical ) towards them.
When you compare the way people talk about PES, there is a huge difference between the WENB community and the one from EVO-web.
I don't condemn that; it's just an observation ;)
