PES 6/PES 5/WE9 LE All Stuttering

Has dxwrapper been mentioned in here yet? It probably has but nothing came up on search. Appreciate there's lots of wrappers out there and that DGVoodoo or ENB seems to be the preference for classic PES, but I have been using dxwrapper recently instead of DGVoodoo and have found I get better performance. With Voodoo I would get occasional drops to 59fps a few moments per match. But with dxwrapper it maintains 60fps with no tearing throughout.

There's also the usual miscellaneous stuff I have done/have to do which has likely already been mentioned but is important:
  • In terms of the exe - setting compatibility mode to XP and disabling full screen optimisations - ensures Windows DWM Vsync is disabled (Probably only relevant for those on Windows 10, which for me even on version 21h2 causes problems with microstutter if played without a wrapper).
  • If you have a display with a refresh rate higher than 60 that does not have a VRR you will need to set it to 60 or 120 (ideally 60 though some modern displays will flicker at a refresh rate this low in my experience). You can use CRU to do this if you're not able to through display settings.
  • If you are using a patch which uses the speeder in Kitserver to slow down the game - this will cause a consistent slowdown in my experience. I have never been able to use this feature as it always appears to impact the framerate, it seems the feature itself works by slowing down the game engine speed. Don't forget about this if you're playing a patch and it's lagging, I always disable it.
What stub file should I put on pes6 folder?

Hello, a question, the other options that you have enabled like the singleprocaffinity and anisotropicfiltering and antialiasing what are they for? it is advisable to enable them? greetings.
Hi, those are all optional. Only requirements are the d3d8to9 to fix the intermittent microstutter and vsync to get rid of the tearing.
The other options are enabled as I was mostly just testing.

Singleprocaffinity forces the game to run on a single core of your processor. Generally this can work better for older games so I have it enabled but there’s no feedback or noticeable improvement that I’ve seen with it on.

Anisotropic filtering in basic terms makes far away objects look sharper. Again I have it on because why not. Not sure if it makes a difference with PES though.

AA softens edges. Without it the players outline and shirt numbers etc can look quite shimmery, and the goal posts are quite jagged. Sadly this built in AA didn’t seem to work either so I’ve since turned it off. However I’ve been able to use an SMAA injector instead alongside dxwrapper and this appears to work (still testing).

Well, I tried reshade, I tried dxwrapper.
I still can't get rid of the stutter every few seconds.
I guess it just wont run perfectly on windows 10.

Maybe I'll install XP just to run the damn game well.

In game directory you place:
  • d3d8.dll
  • dxwrapper.dll
  • dxwrapper.ini
then open dxwrapper.ini file in notepad and enable d3d8 and vsync. Some screenshots here:

Hello and congratulations for all this information... could I ask you please if you would tell me which files to use for me who have a 144 grz monitor and a 60 grz monitor what are they for both best antistutter files to insert? Thanks bye
PS: I can also confirm that in one of the monitors which is 60 hrz the spender must always be set to 1.00 otherwise you will have frame drops but on the 144 hrz one you can lower it without problems

Surprisingly, it was dxwraper that helped me run WE9LE Geezer 21-22 patch with reshade. Before that, I got the error like this .
What options need to be activated in the dxwrapper.ini file ?
And do I need to run the D3DOverrider program or not?
I also read in your correspondence that supposedly the running speed in the game can drop, right? I'm just starting to test WE 9 Le and therefore I want to know how I can avoid this? Which option should be enabled where?

And I also want to know:
Is there an HD texture pack for football fields for We 9 Le? Or do you need to increase the resolution even more?
Now i set this one :
dx.fullscreen.width = 2560
dx.fullscreen.height = 1440
# Game's internal resolution
internal.resolution.width = 3840
internal.resolution.height = 2160

And i use Reshade .
Play on Tv Sony 40W905a
i5-11600k + 2080ti palit dual
16 gb ddr4 and ssd

Hi, could you tell me what should I put inside the game folder? Thank you
I also saw this news, but what does it give to the average user? How to apply this version in the same We 9? Maybe just replace the files somewhere or something?
Extract everything in x32 folder into PES folder. I don't play PC anymore so test it to see if stutter and lag disappear, but as far as MSI Afterburner can tell me PES runs on Vulkan after applying DXVK

Hello, i tried with dxwrapper and pes6 works perfectly for me, but when i connect my laptop to the tv using the hdmi cable, the game stutters, does dxwrapper have any option in the configuration that solves this by playing with the tv? greetings.

This worked perfectly for me.. I was having some stuttering and tearing issues with the Original Season patch, and this fixed it. Thank you @BluesyShrimper :TU:
