Deja Vu, been here about the feedback from press tours. The graphics and visuals look like a good upgrade but hope the back heels have been toned down. Like someone said you need to play it for about 3 months before you can reach a conclusion on how good the game is.

talking of backheels I hardly saw any, backheels then to happen if your stringing a couple of quick passes together.

but on PA1 playing a few quick passes could lead to you giving the ball away

Why is everyone attacking the one guy who has played it? He has passed on his opinions and given us a little insight into the game that we are all waiting for.

It's all opinion after all, judge it yourselves on release of the demo and be grateful someone is willing to share the information with you.

From what he has said it sounds like it will be my cup of tea but I won't really know until i play it myself. Feedback on the graphics, animations, goalkeeper mechanic's is interesting

On the one hand I'm happy to hear that as I really liked the 2018 online beta, but if you think about it, we're only just on the brink of getting that gameplay (one year on), and that's on the proviso that the game doesn't change again before release, which on past form is highly likely.

I'm going by the game is 90% compete so I'm hoping the wonderful elements remain

The phsyicality point brought up by daniel is something I also spotted from the original videos and messaged Adam about. I do see a lot of great stuff in these videos but its painstakingly clear that they need to improve on the tussles and the collision detection, it's like it's there and ready to go but they just haven't got it working 100% properly yet

Konami are nearly there the collision system needs more work if my defenders are shielding the ball they need to be strong in shielding the ball

Did anyone play v the ai yesterday in Glasgow?
What was player postioning like? Is there still loads of space between defence/midfield and attack?
Did the ai come at you when they were losing in the last minutes of a match?

agree, same for centre forwards holding up the ball, it will really stop that end-to-end feel of the gameplay if the strong players can keep hold of the ball with their back to goal

One thing I'll say is PESMunki and I was looking out for was positioning, the DM was bang on in where he needed to be both PESMunki and I turned off all Advanced instructions and had a fantastic game of chess like football

Bingo, that's the issue of backheel.. stringing quick passess and that backheel often happens. Where does the stats come into play here.. ?

A few points regarding recent posts above :
- saw daniel mention PES 2019 should be the game PES 2018 beta should have followed. not sure why it didn't and, for me, is a case of false advertising (like 2016 anniversary contracts)

- the demo may be "good" in one person's eyes (e.g. the graphics and menus are sweet) but for others who care about gameplay, a demo which features inaccurate gameplay compared to the final version is weak (and for players who play purely for gameplay , i'd go as far as saying it was fraudulent)

- play the demo, suck up the hype. The TRUE demo starts on PES 2019 release date and the TRUE hype will be based on what feedback comes from the players.

- personally, it took me the entire year of squadbuilding in 2015 to understand whether it was good or not (i enjoyed it enough to be frustrated when most of the community moved on to PES 2016 leaving 2015 servers empty); PES 2018 I saw its flaws within 10 games. So I think having patience of about a week or two after release will be a good thing this time round.

I got there early .... and just the press were there and BBC Scotland recording Konami's license made the news and it was big

Been playing FIFA 17 career mode in anticipation of doing my first real crack at Master League since PS1 days and not sure if PES has this but there's a little feature in FIFA where you do press conferences and unnerve the other team or praise etc. so had a dig at Brendan Rodgers for Celtic match then Derek McInnes before Aberdeen match and lost both, not sure if because my comments but defo made the matches more intense, kind of hoping you can do the same in pes 2019 if not a feature already.

I hope that they do too, and you can only judge by what you've seen.

Time will tell, and I don't want to be negative, but you must see why people are wary, based on past experience.
I'll be interested to see what someone like Bman thinks on release.

The problem is that, the bigger the expectation, the harder the fall when it isn't met.

That's promising if the arcade back heels issue has been solved. We can judge for ourselves next week.

I hope so too I'd be lynched if the game turns out different (both here and at work) - My missus said last night "Dan if the game turns out different you'd better hand yourself in to the police"

She obviously gets the passion that PES invokes!

Hopefully the Demo will back-up your views on the current state of the game, but assuming it does, sadly there's no guarantee that the final game will be the same.

And if the game changes dramatically between the demo at final release, then you shouldn't be criticised for that.

The fans are very very passionate about football ...... and that's all I'm gonna say on the matter :ROCK:

Morning just had a knock on PES2018 .....no no no I'm done with this game .....it's PES2019 all the way for me such a fantastic game I played yesterday ... I'll use these words this is the game that should have followed the PES2018 online beta

Mate whose your solicitor for me to write to when things go tits up and quote this post?Lol

Good work Bro

Fatigue should be based on how much individual player has been sprinting etc, not just randomly assigning a player as tired. Could be used for scripting to have players make mistakes that lead to late goals(not like PES doesn't have enough goals on the eve of half time and full time already!)

News about PA is great and no catch up bug too, maybe demo will be like last years Beta, great news. However i still believe the final game will be corrupt to entice casual players and micro transactions.

One other obvious point about fatigue. A players stamina stat should play a big part.

A player with, say, 68 stamina should visibly tire if not subbed off in the second half. Irregardless of using the sprint button too much or not. On the flip side, players with massive tanks of 85+ stamina should be able to cope with getting up and down the pitch for the entirety of the 90 mins without becoming overly fatigued (unless accumulated in master league).

Just praying that the catch up but is gone. Read varying opinions about it being present/not present/toned down in the latest build.

Bottom line, if Mbappe gets past a defender who's notoriously slow then under no circumstances should he be caught unless he is fouled. I really want pes to reflect reality in these situations like it always used to in PS2 days.
