I play PES2019 tomorrow (at Glasgow) and I'll log on here talk about the game
@PES_Danielrh just a simple favor, if I may ask. Please try to kick the ball away after the ref blew the whistle (half time, full time, foul ).
Open source PES game, that was my dream too! will pay 100 bucks every year for subscription. They can learn a lot from sim racing games, assetto corsa for example, you can edit everything, import cara, tracks, championships etc. Imagine if Konami let us have something like sliders and speed of animations... I nees to wake up, it's 2018 for KonamiMost people are just lazy like that.
Those friends of mine who have a PS4 haven't even tried PES 2017, much less PES 2018.
The first thing that comes up when you tell them to at least try it, is the licenses. And they are my age too! They aren't FUT kids. They play FIFA. Either online or offline. And when I tell them how easy it is to get PES all licensed and looking even more beautiful than FIFA, they look surprised. Like they never knew it was possible (so... that's Konami's fault too for the little advertising and publicity on this possibility the game has had for a long time now!). But then (my friends) they don't bother doing it. Because they don't want to waste their little free time on reading tutorials, downloading, copying files, importing, etc.
So let's face it, Konami are their own enemies.
They could very well have a Multi-Platform Online System that's WITHIN the game that would let you search and download any type of content (and the game could automatically import whatever you download) right there! From the game! Like a download centre. We've seen that in other games! FIGHT NIGHT for example. Or that Tennis game that was posted in this very thread weeks ago.
That way they wouldn't have to think about spending money on licenses ever again.
Gimme an all-around Editor, including Stadium Editor AND the possibility to load files that were created on a PC (faces, etc) too! And just focus on the gameplay, game modes, graphics.
are there specific moments!? is it random? do you have a video? i have not seen this for month and i'm still trying it, because it bacame a habbit to me! like to know more! You can do it in 2018 as well, at least in certain situations.

ill surely give this a try in 2018 tonight! if this works...I will try to record it next time. But you are somewhat right, it is not that intuitive like the years before.
As far as i found out, the trick is to keep the analogue stick exactly in the same direction as you were running before the halftime whistle. If you change direction or use any other command, your chance to take a shot is gone.
It´s like you have one command left to use after the whistle.
Although it is surely the most unimportant thing imaginable about PES today, i would be very interested if this was useful to you.
Been in for years, them. When you edit each team's stadium you can choose them.
I’m happy for every feature that’s been kept!Been in for years, them. When you edit each team's stadium you can choose them.
I hope that since they seem to give importance to trophies, even the fake leagues like Serie A and Premier will have them in Master. Also since they are talking about customized scoreboards for the newly acquired leagues i hope we can edit scoreboards for every unlicensed competition in edit mode. So we could make Champions League, Europa League, Serie A and Premier League more authentic.
Would be great, but they announced nothing new for edit mode...

Sounds about right since 2008 was about the time I stopped playing it Skipped 2009, though did get 2010 version and then that was it. But this MASS thing vxcmplx talks about in 2014 version sounds cool. There was a permanent decline since PES2008, the year PES opened itself for simple arcade soccer followed by helpless efforts to find a new symbiosis. Going crazy about PES2014 surely isn´t appropriate.
maybe someone can translate this 2019 impressions if there is important stuff in it:

thanks, mate!Nothing particularly new. Nearly every point describes an improvement (including more free kicks!) except referees which are the same. Goalkeepers are similar but with some new animations and quicker responses after saves.
They do, however, have a big rant about how PA1 is too assisted.
More people complain about assistance being too high, more chances it will be improved. Thankfully it's not just us complaining about it.
It just makes no sense. Let them do their esports on PA3 but make PA1 actually mean something.
Same with racing games. Shifting manual is more rewarding, life like and makes you better and faster (pull off stuff you just can’t with automatic). At least I feel that way. But still a lot of user driving with auto and driving aids (PC, GTS, AC).This is the most infuriating part of it. It defies logic, the game must be terrible on PA2/3 if PA! is this assisted. Do they not get that that passing is a key component in football, those who have exceptional passing skills really stand out in real life. Eg Pirlo, a complete master of passing but has never really stood out as passing is so assisted.

Playing the game, ok, cool. Being in that stadium, awesome! I’m a little jealous...Arrived at Celtic FC awesome setup - I am early but already the press are downing interviews
Due to it being so assisted, I've been forced into manual which I enjoy, so I'm ok, but would prefer PA1 to be closer to manual by default.
