For those that really just want a good solid football game they don't...........problem is that, that amount is nothing compared to the amount of those for which it does matter and since the amount in sales is a priority for every company that produce a product, KONAMI will do anything to help the sales go up.But when you look at what they've accomplished through the years as a company when it comes to this game,often without the licenses, i understand why that comment is often made, especially when you consider the competition they face.But that is just your viewpoint and as I said earlier on, the importance of licences varies from person to person. They don’t really matter that much to me, to be honest, but I can appreciate why they do matter to others and it’s precisely why I said I was playing Devil’s Advocate.
My point all along is that no matter to what variance it is from person to person, they do matter. Konami wouldn’t be spending money on them if they didn’t matter.
The praise for Konami when they obtain a licence cannot go hand in hand with “well they don’t matter anyway” when they lose/fail to obtain one.
