PES 2019 Discussion Thread (PS4, XB1)

So I get why we can’t have the classic uniforms. But why does Konami show game footage with the short shorts and not allow us to use those in-game? Very frustrating. Maradona and pele and really and Pre 1990s team doesn’t look right without the shorter shorts. Any word if they added that in DLC?

In my particular case...
I live alone and by my own. Even though my girlfriend comes over and usually stays for a few days, I spend most of the week alone.
I'm tired of going out to clubs and partying. Really. I started doing that very early on, when I was too young and now I'm 31 and I don't want nothing to do with it anymore. So Modding is like a big outlet for me. It's a therapeutic.

People can be ungrateful or picky and even hurtful sometimes. It can bring you down if you're sensitive. Me? I'm snappy. I tend to snap, get angry and get back. But it sure as hell takes the will out of you to keep doing it. Even if it doesn't sadden me to receive critics or trolling comments, it does make me want to stop modding sometimes. And I'm nobody, really. I can't even imagine what it does to the real geniuses here.

So I told myself, since I don't even really play the game anymore, the day I feel I'm doing this to please other people more than I am actually doing it to please myself, that's when I'll be closing the curtains, or step away for a while. Which is right about now.

The way I see it, you can take "Modding" in two ways. Either you do it for money, and you sell your mods or ask for donations, which is something I've always been strongly against, and I detest anyone who does that. OR... you can do it for free, until you just aren't getting any satisfaction out of it. Then stop. And only come back if you feel you're actually enjoying doing it again.

If it weren't for guys like you, incas, kilay, nesa, milanista and co. PES would have zero fan base.

Some of the stuff you guys do reminds me of when I was a kid and used to pick up those magazines where you could type out your own game in BASIC.....and after typing out 3000 lines of code....the game did not work. WTF?! but it was still fun because I was typing away in the hope of achieving a great game. My imagination was my fuel.

You guys have done a great job over the years. (salute)

First edit data notes after DLC.Still live update is needed to move the added players to correct teams.Pedro Geromel is an official now so maybe confirmation of the Gremio licenses or part of them according to a screenshot before.He is in free agents due to servers down.Live update is needed.Sexondly some (3?) Thai NT players have scanned faced so I assume Thai NT is licensed.Thai league not playable in league mode still so probably it was not an accident.Waiting for servers to make update,edit and make fixes to start a new ML to check for gameplay.

PS: Trying to resist to make a joke/meme about Thai NT being playable only in exhibition mode. :D :P

Or after rechecking,no other Gremio players found in dB,so maybe it is Brasília NT licenseed.
About gameplay to be honest and this is my personal opinion only,the AI issues are core problems and cannot be fixed with updates.They can only be improved in a state.
 
First game n i had an aweome one. Too early to say anything on possible ai changes... love the pace, and the new stadiums/turfs look fantastic. And the new yellow high vis merlin looks amazing in game:

Licensed stadia in Pes 2019 looks outstanding.The Kuip, Amsterdam Arena, Anfield, San Siro,Stade Louis II,Arena Corintians looks absolutely brilliant. Ibrox and Celtic Park will look probably superb too. Only atmoshere chants support is shit. I hope they give us next year chants importer like last gen of consoles.

I kept my self out of posting for a while just to give the game more time and how it feels after extensive playing. This game is not perfect like any other game that existed but for me definately is best football game on the pitch until now. Even now I see things I didn`t saw before, randomness all over the pitch, stamina impact, ai trying to simulate penals, first touch errors etc. Of course shootng can be a bit better, keepers should not be that much hectic and save some screamers, low crossing bug is still there but it happens on very rare occasions but instead of that this game give me that one more game feeling. League mode is way to go for me becouse team spirit kills the stats of the players and strange things happening on the pitch. With a proper reworking of modes, adding little details that will keep us with smile on the face like in old times pes could become real threat for fifa even though if had to rank them pes is by miles better this year on the pitch in all areas. I hope konami will fix some little issues here and there and made the game even more enjoybale :)

Whatever even with basic English it is hard for me to understand what changes they/he mean they did to gameplay.It the last phrase it says “first touch touch”.It seems like the team is 3-5 separate individuals and the update notes are like someone copy-pasted the development feedback from his e-mail from each developer.Is this note from the original wepes domain ?

...yellow nike merlin (russian league official ball) added looks amazing. And yes...gameplay is definitely different in a better way...ill add details in an hour...cannot stop playing... the placebo has been taken. But really...amazing game, improved again since last patch.
 
lol I cannot believe it. They screwed the goal keeper up again. Was worried when I read the update notes. Had two games where he didnt come out of his goal...

Is there any way to get back to the old patch? I guess not? :((
